the staff we had were extremely knowledgeable about GF options and the precautions taken in the kitchen! I know there are some negative reviews about that in the past, but that wasn’t my experience at all.
The food was delicious - the spice is very traditional American so don’t be afraid of getting 3s or 4s!
the massaman curry was literally DIVINE. 1000% recommend it. A must try.
Even with a 4 spice level, the red curry was kind of plain/inmemorable, and the phad thai was pretty good, and I would’ve been very happy with it if I hadn’t tasted the amazing massaman curry!!

Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to try this place. It was a gross rainy windy night and we wanted to get takeout from somewhere close by! We called and asked if the items marked GF on the menu would be celiac safe and the host assured us that they were. We ordered the massaman curry (delicious), the Bangkok red curry (which was our favorite!), and the fresh rolls, which they made with tofu to make gluten free. Everything was so tasty, and the portions were huge, we have so much leftover. No gluten reaction!

Very uninformed and uncaring staff. You kind of have to decide what you think is good and even then I got really sick. Usually Thai cuisine is a safe bet but not here. Please be careful when considering this place.

UPDATE 1/2/2021: Sadly, Noi has really gone downhill in overall quality consistency and allergy precautions it seems. The last couple of times I have tried to eat here:
- At least one food item has been forgotten each time
- Menu GF marks are out of date, as they've changed the recipes/suppliers for some items (some items are GF now but the menu says they're not as well, and also vice versa)
- I've had to speak to multiple staff before someone had the knowledge to assist with my special requests (gluten & soy)
- My order has been messed up every time lately beyond items being forgotten - I will ask for no soy, no gluten in detail, and even have begun specifying "no tofu" for the soy piece as I had someone working there tell me tofu didn't contain soy before... yet every time the last several visits, tofu has been fully present in my food. This made me not confident at all that they followed my gluten request if they did not follow the other
- Some staff have no idea about gluten/celiac/allergies it seems now, so you're shooting in the dark hoping you get someone knowledgeable - and even then, those who have seemed knowledgeable have still left me with incorrectly prepped food
- The food has not been as good; less flavor, things being over or undercooked - for somewhere so expensive compared to a lot of other thai places, this is disappointing. Especially when you order take out and you're not getting all their fancy over the top bells and whistles
I used to love Noi and use it for any special occasion, but sadly it is just not reliable anymore in many ways. I will be sticking to Pinto Thai in Cap Hill for now I suppose, as they have never messed up my orders and always are helpful.

I eat here a lot. Expensive and very extra presentation wise but good food and I’ve never reacted even though I’m very sensitive. I get pad Thai with chicken and Thai iced coffee. Note, they said they don’t know if any of their cocktails can be made GF.

Loved the food here. My server was helpful with guiding me in picking GF options and my food was great.
Very accommodating, safe and delicious! I had the masaman curry (first time in years!) and it was so freaking good. They get it. I will be going here again.

Menu marked gluten free. The food is Delicious!! The staff are friendly and kind. They even have gf dessert. I highly recommend.

The staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the food. The food was amazing as well!!

This is the only restaurant I will order pickup from that isn't dedicated GF. I stick mostly to the Phad Thai with tofu, since that is normally GF, and try not to order at busy times, plus both check the 'Make it GF' box and write a 'Thank you for making this GF!' message in the comment field. I have never gotten sick here, either dining in or takeout. I've eaten here about ten times over the last year.

Great selection and delicious food! Got the spring rolls and red curry. No issues at all. Highly recommend!
Had a duck dish and curry dish which were excellent! Menu doesn’t have a lot of GF options but the ones they have are delicious. Menu clearly labeled. No tummy issues. Very happy!

Noi Thai has a very great atmosphere. We went during happy hour and sat out on the balcony, where there were amazing views. The prices are reasonable, and the food was exceptional! They are also celiac friendly and will accommodate for allergies. Would highly recommend going here if you are in the area and would like a nice dining experience.

BEST Thai food my husband has ever eaten and he has had it all over the world. Very conscientious staff who accommodated both my son's GF & dairy free and worked with all of my issues. Highly recommend for a special occasion celebration. (Angry Ocean is tasty & quite a show according to my husband. My son's green curry phenomenal and my lamb curry heavenly.) BIg fan!

While I have eaten here safely, and it’s great that appetizer and main course options are marked gluten-free on the menu (drinks and desserts aren’t labeled though, unfortunately), waitstaff are not being properly trained on allergens. We’ve visited two times over different years and waiters, and none have known what gluten is (they thought it was dairy both times), and a bartender thought gluten can be boiled away, so it’s hard to feel confident. The taste is also pretty lackluster for the price point, so between those two points, I’d pick another option since there are much better, safer restaurants in Waikiki.

Ordered yellow curry. Asked to sub potatoes for broccoli. It came with two pieces of broccoli in it. Asked for extra veggies and they said the two pieces of broccoli was extra veggies. Order was remade twice and the broccoli was molded. Definitely do not recommend. Not authentic Thai food. Flavor was just predominantly coconut milk and no curry spice or heat. With such limited options this is definitely a hard pass. Our waiter was very nice though and tried his best with the reorders. It's Definitely a chef and owner issue. Owner came up to argue it wasn't mold when clearly it was. Owner did not apologize.

I had a very delicious lamb massaman curry. This restaurant is also lovely, with a noise level that allows for comfortable conversation. Terrific service too.

Had a delicious lamb massaman curry. There were quite a few gf options marked on the menu. Food came out marked with an allergy sign so I knew they had communicated with the kitchen.
