I always have a great experience here they are always on top of it with allergies asking upon everyone ordering. As soon as I made them aware of my allergy they brought AMAZING GF bread rolls with separate dipping oil and a gluten free menu. The GF menu has lots of options. Personally I get the kids GF Mac and cheese and it comes in an adult portion absolutely perfect !

I ordered gluten free pasta and was given the regular gluten pasta. They told me about their error after I ate my meal.
And of course now I am horribly sick. Please do not go here - you can’t trust them.

I have been to this chain in Massachusetts several times and it was fantastic. Unfortunately I was super disappointed in this location. I felt safe and didn’t get sick but the food was awful. I got the chicken caprese sandwich. The gf roll was horrible. It was stale and not grilled or warmed. The cheese was not even melted on the sandwich and since their fries are not gf I got steamed broccoli as my side and it was cold. I will say that the gf carrot cake was delicious but was $10.50 for the slice. Maybe they were having an off night but I would never go back.

Joe’s is truly a great Gluten Free restaurant. Many safe and delicious GF offerings, including dinner rolls that are great. Always delivered to my table separately from the others. Fresh, creative, and seasonal. In 3 years of visits there has never been a problem.

I ordered Mustard Crusted Chicken off of the gluten free menu and a gluten free beer. They brought my gluten free meal out first before any others.
My second time the waitress immediately asked if there were any allergies and brought me out gluten free bread that was delicious. I had sirloin tips and they were so good! I didn’t get sick after either visit. The food is great.

I’ve eaten at other locations and have found the menu clearly marked. Because of the pandemic we ordered take out. I called rather than use the app to make sure the order went in correctly. Three burgers: one beef, one beef and pepper Jack cheese. The third burger was the black bean veggie burger on a gluten free bun with a side salad. The packages were not marked, and the cheese was on the veggie burger, and the side salad for the gluten free burger had croutons on it (were they gf? I wasn’t going to find out they were not).

Been here multiple times and enjoyed the food. The staff is knowledgeable on celiac disease. *update- the last two times I've been here I have gotten sick.

Dude. They have their own GF menu! I'm living for this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I don’t think I got glutened but the food is not good here and I don’t feel good after eating here—not a full celiac reaction but definitely bloated, tired etc. It’s like a 1980s menu—chicken Parmesan etc. If I were eating a meal on a layover at an airport between two long flights I would be ok I guess with the meal I had just because I didn’t get glutened but I didn’t enjoy it. Also they delivered our entrees and totally forgot our apps until we asked. It’s basically just a restaurant for people who aren’t really into food. The waiter was nice though and they seem to be careful about cross contamination. This restaurant would probably work for older visiting relatives or kids.
All I can say is AMAZING. Just went in for burgers. The buns were a little dry like most gluten free, but the flavor is good. The burgers themselves were delicious as were the mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. My daughter got the kids meal gluten free mac and cheese which was to die for. Finished off with a piece of gf carrot cake. Our waitress was attentive, but not invasive. Manager brought my food to the table as I also have shellfish and dill allergies. I have never had this level of service outside of Disney World. Will be back, even if it is two hours from home.

One of my favorite restaurants. Their staff understands that people truly need gluten free. Their gf bread is amazing, and the carrot cake (which is always gf) is the best. It’s my husband’s favorite cake, and he hates carrot cake. I am never disappointed.

The staff was very friendly. I got the tomato basil soup which was nice and creamy with a lot of flavor. I also got the chicken quesadilla which had a good flavor but was so greasy that I had to use napkins to soak some of it up.
Wonderful gluten free menu with many options. Scallops with roasted corn and tomatoes was excellent.
Separate menu, free GF bread (not bad). Most items are gf replacements though. I’d like to see less replacement bread and more options that are naturally GF. Burger wasn’t bad. I’d go back I think.

The food was great. The homemade hamburger rolls were delicious, the tomato soup tasted really fresh and had a nice flavor, and the pasta was good. I'll definitely be back!
It has been 3 months and I must say Joe’s has done an awesome job at redeeming themselves. I contacted the head office and they were wonderful at addressing the issue ( see below). I have eaten there 4 times since June. They put in the computer that I need to speak to the manager before ordering due to gluten. The manager makes sure the kitchen is aware and then he brings the food out.
I don’t know if there has been a change to the kitchen, but in the past 8 months, I have had issues with cross contamination. Twice with barley in my food, which they said was due to a cutting board to close to the gluten food, and tonight I found a piece of pasta in my green beans. The manager said chances were that it was regular pasta. I loved this place and trusted them.
Love the place! They actually have a menu that has quite a few choices. They seem to understand about celiac and gluten intolerance. Each time my meal was brought out separately.

Best bread ever! I don’t recall gluten-containing bread being this good. Have had celiac for 2 years now and this stuff is GOOD.

AMAZING. GF Menu, allergy exacting! Food was more flavorful than I have ever had. Seriously, Chipotle Quesadilla with Pineapple Salsa. Bread is awesome. Waldorf Salad exceptional.
Love this place! We come here all the time and their gluten free bread is just like normal bread, possibly even better!!!
Best lunch ever!! The gluten free bread they serve is to die for. Great service, thank you Courtney. Thank you Logan. Great staff great food and great service!

I'm new to the gluten free world. I don't have celiac but I'm very gluten sensitive/intolerant. Who knew. This place is great. Decent options on the menu from bread with a dipping sauce at your table through dessert. I just finished eating so I don't know about any cross contamination issues. They were very knowledgeable and friendly.
We go to the Glen Mills, PA location. They really try here. We don't usually like chain restaurants but we have found they really try to provide fresh, imaginatively prepared food suitable for those with celiac. I have celiac and have eaten there numerous times and have never had any problems afterwards.

I'm a celiac and not your average joes claims to be gluten free however they gave me bread with gluten in it and the manager and wait staff both assured me in person it was indeed gluten free however an hour after eating it, I was sick for days. They are not celiac friendly.

My go to. Best gluten free restaurant in the area.

The gluten free carrot cake is worth it alone! Their gluten free menu has a lot of variety and the staff is knowledgable.

Loved the GF bread with the dipping sauce! I found this place from the app while I was traveling on business. Great GF options!

Love this place! We love the Mac and cheese as well as the rolls. French fries are not safe so that makes me sad :((

I love this place. My friend who has Celiacs says it's one of her safe places to eat. Managers bring out your GF food. They seem very knowledgable.

Great selection on their GF menu, and they bring out bread upon request (basically their homemade burger buns cut up, but they're really good).

Supposedly GF and celiac friendly, but I got sick after my one time eating here (plus I didn't much care for the food taste-wise prior to that).
AWESOME and safe. Staff has always been knowledgable and the place has a good ambience.

Definitely coming back when we're in the area. Knowledgeable & friendly staff. Wonderful food & chic atmosphere. Local, seasonal food. Separate gf menu with desserts. All food made-to-order.
First time here. Great gf food. great staff. wonderful experience

The first place I've encountered where bread is standard for all needing GF. It's not an afterthought or something that has to be asked for. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, decor was lovely, and food was great! I will be back for sure!
Safe for celiacs. Food was great! Everyone you come in contact with is GF knowledgeable.

Great experience here. Staff was super knowledgeable and asked about allergies right after seating us. Waitress got me a gluten free menu after I told them about being Celiac. Waitress also knew I couldn't have fries because of cross contamination. I got the mustard crusted BLT. It was definitely safe and gluten free. Tasted fine, not amazing. Green beans as a side were so good though. The menu had a ton of other options. Everything is pretty pricey, but it was nice to know I could eat my meal safely! Would definitely go back and try something else.

Good food. Ordered the salmon and green bean and rice with quinoa. It was yummy. I did not get sick. I was worried the rice was seasoned with something but I think it was butter and I’m not used to seasoning. Anyway, good meal.

I’ve had quite a few GF meals from here and they were really good! You can also get GF bread with their dipping sauce for $1.50. Have never been sick from anything and my food is marked GF.
