Updating my review. Went here again after 3 years of not being there. Removed a TON of items from their gluten free menu. Had very limited options. What I had was good and I still got gluten free bread, but was disappointed with how limiting it was.

Extremely disappointed in NYAJ. Used to be my favorite restaurant as I am celiac and have to eat gluten free. Almost all appetizers have been eliminated and only tuna wontons now. The chicken quesadilla used to be fantastic.
Had an awful experience in Warwick. Your prices are outrageous now for the quality of food. I ordered gf haddock and the entire meal was terrible. The fish came out smelling like fish and the gf crumbs were not even baked on. The mashed potatoes were like glue and the broccoli well undercooked. My husband and I paid $60 for two meals that we could have gotten at a Chili’s for much less. What has happened? I used to love NYAJ and went at least twice a month. I do appreciate eating gluten free, but the quality of the food ...
The staff was so careful when they found out we had celiac. Delicious rolls with olive oil. Loved my club sandwich. My daughter enjoyed her plain pasta with butter. The dessert was out of this world - the chocolate cake was like cheesecake consistency and fantastic! Happy to see GF beer on the menu, didn’t try it this time but will be back.

I used to love going to NYAJ. Have had a few poor experiences now, at least for this Warwick location. Burnt chicken. Over peppered spaghetti sauce. Over cooked gluten free noodles. And worst of all, their endless gluten free rolls are now small, dry and don’t have that fresh baked feel or taste. And to top it off, we had poor service. I won’t be going back nor recommending it again.
I’m not sure yet if it was safe but the quality of the food is definitely not worth the price. My son found a large piece of fatty chicken skin in his nachos and it went downhill from there.
Staff was knowledgeable and confident when it came to allergens. I have a dairy allergy as well as being celiac and the wait staff and kitchen had no problem double checking ingredients for me. Definitely would eat here again without hesitation- had spaghetti squash bolognese with mushroom and their gf roll was perfection!!

The bread!! Amazing! It is so good and appreciated. My whole family loved it. I got the penne with seafood and lobster sauce. It was good but the pasta had the weird after taste. Carrot cake for desert was solid.

An entire separate menu dedicated to people with gluten allergy/intolerance. I felt so welcome! They even have gluten free bread to snack on. My waitress was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and gluten in general.

My son ordered chicken quesadilla and the salmon meal. He loved them both. Staff friendly and very attentive to all allergic people.
Great gluten free menu and bread! Courteous service too. Good for groups and outdoor seating.
Excellent food and service!! New favorite place!

Excellent GF menu, attentive and well-trained servers, consistently safe for me (Celiac). Servers remember and confirm at every stage GF. I am comforted by their consistency and professionalism; even when in Philadelphia tried the experience there and was consistent and delicious! Great to feel safe and enjoy well prepared meal.
They have a separate gluten free menu. Great selection :) I was a very happy diner. Definitely recommend, I'd love to try more from the menu!

Great experience here. Staff was super knowledgeable and asked about allergies right after seating us. Waitress got me a gluten free menu after I told them about being Celiac. Waitress also knew I couldn't have fries because of cross contamination. I got the mustard crusted BLT. It was definitely safe and gluten free. Tasted fine, not amazing. Green beans as a side were so good though. The menu had a ton of other options. Everything is pretty pricey, but it was nice to know I could eat my meal safely! Would definitely go back and try something else.

Awful gf burger, limited gf sides. Felt like I ate gluten afterwards. Will never eat there again!

Server was careful about gf. Mustard crusted chicken sandwich was okay, but the gluten free rolls for appetizer and with the sandwich were the best I’ve ever had!

I always have a great experience here they are always on top of it with allergies asking upon everyone ordering. As soon as I made them aware of my allergy they brought AMAZING GF bread rolls with separate dipping oil and a gluten free menu. The GF menu has lots of options. Personally I get the kids GF Mac and cheese and it comes in an adult portion absolutely perfect !

I ordered gluten free pasta and was given the regular gluten pasta. They told me about their error after I ate my meal.
And of course now I am horribly sick. Please do not go here - you can’t trust them.
