Lovely assortment of seafood. The menu was mainly gluten containing food or food that had cross contamination. I chose the catfish fish (small plate) and the salad greens with goat cheese and almonds and the strawberry basil sorbet for dessert which was delicious. If you are concerned about cross contamination, your options will be extremely limited. The service was amazing (our menu was marked up for us, showing what was gluten free versus food that had cross contamination) and the marine decor was tastefully done. Loved the floor to ceiling blue curtains. Giving a 2 for variety because of the cross-contamination, which unfortunately pulls down the overall rating.

This place was very accommodating for gluten free needs. They had special gluten free batter for the fried oysters. Food was delicious and drinks were fun! There was not a gluten free menu but the server marked up my menu for me with a ton of options. Very knowledgeable staff!

The menu must have changed because there are hardly any options. The grill is very cross contaminated. Ordered the baked items on the menu and they were worth it. Definitely delicious just not many options.

Staff was knowledgable; hand-marked my menu with Celiac safe vs G-friendly vs not an option. Not much to choose from but the smoked tuna salad on cucumbers and the baked drum (fish) were truly fantastic! (no safe dessert options).

They do not have allergens listed on the menu, so you have to rely on your server. Our server indicated the gumbo was GF... When we questioned how the roux was made, if not with flour, he went to the kitchen to confirm... The gumbo is not GF.
After that, I was a bit apprehensive. So we requested he double check everything we ordered in the kitchen and note the allergy. There was one dish, the tuna, that had a brown sauce that caused me to pause when delivered to the table. At that point we called over someone else, and they confirmed with the kitchen it was a tamarind sauce that was GF.
I did not have any reaction, and the food was all very delicious. We will be back, but will remain diligent about confirming which menu items are truly safe.
Our food:
Started with tuna dip with cucumbers in place of crackers
Tuna with tamarind sauce and okra
Baked drum with corn succotash

So happy with the whole experience. Our waitress, Felicia, was very knowledgeable about what foods I could and couldn’t eat there. After telling them I’m Celiac they changed the way they prepared my dish to avoid any cross contamination. I truly appreciated their knowledge and how accommodating they were.

We had a lovely meal here. While the menu is not marked, our server went and checked with the chef. On my copy of the menu he marked the items that were both gluten free and safe from cross-contamination. They were able to provide me with cucumber slices to use in place of bread for the appetizers. I had the baked drum as my entrée and it was delicious.

Items are not marked and there's no separate menu but wait staff are knowledgeable about ingredients and substitutions and alterations can be made. A lot of the items are GF or can be made GF. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the whole grilled fish and the chocolate pudding.
No gluten free menu. Waiter not knowledgeable, didn't offer to ask chef.
No
Waitress was extremely knowledgeable and empathetic to my dietary needs. She genuinely enjoyed making sure that I had a great dining experience, and even informed me how they use rice flour in the shrimp bisque and brought a bowl out for me immediately after I tasted my friends bowl! What a fantastic night!
Yes
The oysters, oh the oysters. The rest of the meal was delicious too. The staff even called the chef on her day off to make sure the dessert was GF.
Yes
Came for lunch. no GF menu. Server was not knowledgeable, but did have the chef prepare a hanger steak in sautee pan instead of on grill.
No
We walked in they do not have a dedicated menu and stated they don't have a special procedure in the kitchen for Celiac. We left.

The absolute best. From the service to the food, this place is 100% legit. A well earned 5 stars.
Excellent experience! Best gf /celiac-safe meal and service thus far in New Orleans. Wait staff was PHENOMENAL and food amazing! Very knowledgeable about celiac-may have been our server Heather (not sure) but was an overall great experience.

They did a great job and the food was amazing.

Wow, delicious! Server was knowledgeable and ensured the substituted in my meal. Much of the food is seafood so, better than many of the fried foods at other restaurants in NOLA. Popular place - need reservations! I ate at the bar.
Eating GF was not a problem at all and the food was delicious.
Amazing gluten-free options, they were very knowledgeable about celiac. Try the pistachio shortcake is to die for!!! It's a pistachio meringue with strawberries and cream. SO GOOD!! The seafood salad is divine. Best food in New Orleans!
Yes
We got the seafood platter which was already gf and they have us cucumber slices instead of crackers- awesome!
Seafood salad is delicious!
Very willing to help me select GF options, most of the menu can be made GF!
Yes
Great food and knowledge waitress! Several GF options, and they can make modifications. The waitress said there isn't a dedicated gf frier (before I even had to ask), but there were still plenty of other options.
Yes
Peche is awesome! Crab claws are a must! I ate there twice on this visit because it was so good! The waiters are more than happy to accommodate for gluten free. My waitress even told me to prevent cross contamination they pan sear the fish instead of grilling it since the grill does come in contact with bread. The drum fish was excellent and my husband loved the oysters! You can't go wrong here!
Yes

The seafood salad is the best ever! Service is eh. Oysters are fresh and delicious. No gluten free menu but they will modify.

No separate gluten free menu but no need for one! They are so knowledgeable and helpful! Almost everything is or could be made gluten free. And everything has soooo much flavor!!! The redfish and the white beans with bacon were incredible! So was the tomato and shrimp bisque. Highly recommend stopping here when in NOLA!

Update: Went for lunch on the most recent visit and the day chef was unwilling to do GF Brussels Sprouts. Totally bummed
As a local, one of my favorite places to eat in NO. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Most of the menu is gf and many dishes can be made gf. Also very accommodating to avoid dairy as well. LOVE the whole redfish with salsa verde and the Brussels sprouts. Great atmosphere, great dining experience.
had oysters and pumpkin shrimp bisque. wonderful food. they use a rice based roux to thicken. so yummy. lots of gluten free options tho they don't have a separate menu.
Yes
The service was terrific no gf menu but the wait staff was very gf knowledge and really cared about helping me. We only tried the Seafood salad and raw oysters. They were amazing! The salad was so delicious and refreshing we ordered another one! Would definitely return!
The seafood options for a gluten free dinner were numerous and the ones I had were great. Even though they did not have many dessert options, the sorbet was incredible.
Wonderful place. Had smoked eggplant with tomato jam appetizer and the grilled lamb kabobs with side of stewed okra and tomatoes. The waiter was very gluten knowledgeable and went through the entire menu telling me what I could and could not eat. He suggested a substitute for the pita bread that came with the eggplant.

Wasn't sure about this place at first. Visited NOLA with my girlfriend and passed by Peché on the way to the Crazy Lobster. A friend had recommended Peché to her but we couldn't find any GF info on it. The food looked delicious and this was our fancy vacation dinner night so we decided to give it a try. The hostess confidently said they could accommodate celiac folks like myself. Our bartender/waitress was very knowledgeable and surprised us by handing me a gluten free menu when I mentioned the situation. The food was amazing and I had no reaction. A little pricey but worth it.
