I always get sick after eating here. They seem very uneducated about celiac disease and what cross contamination means so they are not celiac friendly at all.

My daughter is celiac and ordered gf pad thai. She received noodles with chicken and vegetables, no sauce. It was gross. She had ordered it to go and didn't check it before she left. She is traveling from out of state with her athletic team, so there was nothing she could do about it. It was so bad that she threw it away and didn't have dinner that night. Very disappointing..

Although I have loved eating here before being diagnosed with celiac, I would no eat here being gf. I have tried to eat here countless times and every time I end up getting sick. Although I wish I could eat here, it is not the best for someone with celiac disease.
No
Great lunch! They had gluten free offerings for most dishes and were more gf aware than most restaurants around the UA.
Yes
I’ve gotten sick too many times despite communicating celiac
No
This Pei Wei has slapped GF stickers on regular entrees, had stray and noodles in my rice, and gave me an entirely different person's order. Don't trust them.
No
It's unfortunate they only offer 2 GF items - and with only 2 different sauce choices.
It would be great for us (Celiac's) if they would use GF soy sauce to make ALL of their sauces. It makes no sense why they don't, because they give you packets of GF soy sauce when you order take out.
The good news is....you can choose white rice, brown rice, or rice noodles to go with your choice of meat.
I LOVE the fact you can get the chicken or shrimp grilled or steamed with NO breading on it. I also love that they DO offer a GF breading-like coating made from potato starch for those of us who like a coating once in a while.
I've recently tried this restaurant for the first time. I'm glad to say I'll be eating at Pei Wei's at least 2x per week for the rest of my life.
The food is delicious, they have good prices, and the inside decoration & layout is very appealing. I love the atmosphere here.
If they take my advice about their sauces, I'll be eating here 3-5x per week! It's THAT darn good. =)
Yes
Very limited menu, but tasted good
Yes
Small GF menu but always yummy and reliable. The GF spicy chicken is my usual go-to.
First time visit and employees very accommodating with GF request. Food simple but tasty and even given packets of GF soy sauce.

Decent food but a little on the pricey side for the amount you get. Many gluten free options on the menu.

I wish I could give it zero stars.
I love Pei Wei. They don’t have them in Chicago anymore. I’ve been planning on having dinner at this location the next time I visited Phoenix… years in the making.
I walked up to the front in the teenagers running the place said we’re closed for 15 minutes because we’re going on break. My flight boarded in 25 minutes so I asked them if it was really gonna be 15 minutes or 30 minutes. They said 30 minutes.
I asked them how long it takes to make the only gluten-free meal they serve. They said they don’t have any chicken so I asked him if they had anything that could be done gluten-free and they said no.
Those employees and the manager are to be ashamed of themselves .
By the way, it’s not like it was in the middle of the night. It was 5:30 in the afternoon, dinner time
