Pei Wei

Ordered GF sweet and sour online for pickup. When I got home found that the chicken had been breaded. Tried to call and was on hold for over 3 min. When the line was answered no one was on the other end. Could heard noises in the background. Tried to get someone's attention, even yelling into the phone but no one ever picked up. Hung up the phone and left a very poor review on their feedback site.

They do a really good job! I was cautious about the coating on the food as well and asked and the manager. He explained it is a gluten free coating. It was delicious!

The pei Wei we used to go to closed and we drove 20 minutes to get dinner. We never had trouble getting a fried rice made gluten free at the other place but the cashier told us they don't do that if they are busy (they aren't really) and she'd have to ask her manager. I watched that interaction and th manager flat out refused to use GF soy sauce for me. When my husband told her we'd just driven out of the way she said they could make it without sauce because they do t have any GF sauce - blaming her cashier for 'not understanding'.

Girl took my order said it would be gluten free. Had breading on the shrimp, was sick after eating here. Not sure if it was supposed to be breaded or not as it was my first trip here.

Good food. Ask for the GF menu. They have a handful of items. I had GF edemame, spicy chicken and spring rolls from the gf menu. All great. Ask for gf soy sauce packets. They are prepared to serve GF and it's not a problem. We fed a family of four for $45. Best gf Chinese food experience I have had.

I have eaten at this Pei Wei location at least 6 times and have had no reactions to their gluten free meals. I am highly sensitive to cross-contact. The menu is clearly marked and the manager was able to answer all of my questions.

I ordered the Gluten Free Bourbon chicken with rice and it was delicious and a good portion! I had no negative reaction!
