Pulled pork is excellent and try the garlic yuca fries!
It's 100% gluten free and 100% delicious. Everyone loved it. Try their fresh juice. It's located inside the Oxbow Public Market which has tons of gluten free options. Save some room for Pica Pica.
My arepa was overlooked and a little blah-- the whole thing just tasted like sugar. Safe to eat here but not so tasty for the high price!
Fresh and delicious, but the portion size was disappointingly small. We ended up here after eating at the other dedicated gluten-free restaurant in the Oxbow. The price for two small plates here was $19.
The food is ridiculous!
SO MAD. Closed an entire thirty minutes early and refused to serve me. Awful service.
This is the only restaurant that I trust 100% for gluten free food, plus the food is always delicious. Maize-wich is the best with whatever filling you put in it. On their menu currently, my favorite filling is Chicken Salad with avocado and peas, and has a little heat too. The garlic yucca fries are also pretty awesome.
Delicious! Many options!
This is my date night go-to place. Always delicious, always safe. Dedicated GF kitchen. Love the Maize-wich bread!
This is one of my favorite places to go grab a quick meal. Yummy
Maizewiches. Tasty, but a bit on the greasy side.
This place is awesome and 100 percent gluten free. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Don't forget to order the yucca fries that come with garlic and home made ketchup. You can also get gfree beer too.
Yum! & Dairy free breads too!
Amazing menu items at a good price for Napa.
Ate here multiple times not because we had too, but because we Really, Really wanted to. Don't miss this spot whilst in Napa.
Tremendously awesome food. I'm thankful to have found this restaurant
Excellent food, I had a pulled pork arepa on yellow corn with fried garlic yucca as a side- incredibly tasty. The food is extremely unique and with it all being GF (with gf beer available) it really was a safe treat. I'm glad it's one of the few gf Latin American places that isn't the typical taco stand etc.
Good god, this place is incredible and I can't recommend it enough for fans of latin food, or anyone else for that matter. The entire restaurant is GF, so there are no worries on cross contamination. I really wish there was one in CT. I had the pulled pork arepa, beef cachapa, and yuca fritters; all, including the various sauces available, were excellent.
Yummy grilled chicken arepa and plaintains. So comforting to know it is ALL gf.
The pulled pork pernil is delicious, subtle and lots of food. The chicken and shredded beef cachapos were great too. I'm sure all of it is great. The coconut lime fresca was like dessert. Both desserts are perfect. All the vege's are fresh, awesome slaw and salads. I only wish the restaurant was bigger and there was one in the east bay. Will definitely be back again.
Delicious food, great menu, lovely staff.
Excellent food! Small, fun restaurant with constant flow of take out and dine in customers. Will surely return!
Amazing food!! I had the fried chicken, yuca fries and pica slaw with black beans, AMAZING!! My husband is not celiac or gluten free and he had the beef empinanda and loved it, couldn't even tell it was gluten free! Definitely recommend this place to any celiac or gluten intolerant person :)
I was excited to see a 100% gluten free restaurant. We had the grilled chicken arepas & empanadas. The cheese empanadas are the closest thing to a mozzarella stick a celiac will ever taste. The chicken was great. The corn pocket gets to be a bit much after a few bites. Just very heavy. Good food. Not a place I would rush right back to though.
You can't go wrong here - delicious food and 100% gluten-free! I'm also dairy-free, and the waitress said that I could basically get anything without the cheese. I had the yuca fries and the grilled chicken arepa without the cheese. Both were awesome, and the arepa was HUGE. Such a great place!
The food was good, but nearly everything was fried in soybean oil-probably GMO. Vegetarian options were a bit limited. Nothing was organic, and the sauces tasted like either corn syrup or cheap mayonnaise were the #1 ingredients. It was nice to eat something that tasted like street food without worrying about gluten, but I will definitely pass on the sauces if I go here again.
