This is a marketplace with several different restaurants inside. I ate at Besina, the Mexican restaurant. The waitress was knowledgeable about allergies, the food came out with an allergy flag, and I didn’t get sick afterwards.

I was told by the employee working the bakery counter that all of their GF baked goods aren't made in a GF facility. So they wouldn't guarantee anything was free from cross contamination.
There are a ton of GF products in their market though.

Absolutely amazing! The marketplace is covered with gf options. The cold case has gr brownies and cake! Things are well labeled. Staff was super helpful and kind. I had the macadamia nut cheese toast and it was outstanding.

First time I was there a few month ago, the GF pizza crust was hard as rock, had trouble cutting it using a knife and the continued to struggle to split it with my hand. Second time at Plant City yesterday, got the meatballs with a side order of GF flatbread. The flatbread was flavorless and and a weird texture. I think they use the same dough for the pizza crust and the flat bread. Overall, there are much better GF pizza places in PVD.

Plant City changed from gluten free/Celiac-safe to not safe without any warning to it’s loyal customers. Not only did I get an immediate autoimmune reaction through weeks of illness, I now have lost faith in this restaurant group. The Celiac community and anyone with food allergies should beware of this unethical business.

Many of the gluten-free marked items on the menu are not gluten-free if you are sensitive – they have a shared fryer. I have told them this makes it not gluten-free for celiac people - gluten-free free is not defined just by the items not having gluten in them but how they are prepared - but they don’t seem to care. This makes me worried about the rest of their gluten-free items and probably why I have so bad after eating there. Too bad – there’s a real need for gluten-free delicious places in Rhode Island.
On the other hand they are fast food place plant city ask does have a gluten-free dedicated fire. I always feel safe eating there.

The fried chicken sandwich (actually made of tofu) was delicious, along with the chili cheese fries (vegan cheese) as well as the chocolate passion fruit cake.

Told them I had a gluten allergy and ordered nachos which were marked gluten free. Food came out with a gf flag but waitstaff delivering it said this was fried in the regular frier. I told them I couldn't eat them then and that was why I told them I had an allergy. Ended up getting raw lasagna and it was delicious but not safe to eat here

I ate lunch there today and the server was very knowledgeable about gluten free, she herself has Celiac! She asked if I was concerned about cross contamination and made a note on my order to communicate with the kitchen. My food came out with an allergen flag as well. Super tasty and I felt very safe!

First thing server says when mentioning gluten allergy - “everything is contaminated”
Why even pretend you offer gluten free options?!?

I had an AMAZING experience at plant city and I didn’t get sick! I felt super comfortable eating here and the servers were extremely knowledgeable about what things are fried in the same fryer, etc. My food also came out flagged. For someone who’s not only a celiac but is also allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts, I felt highly comfortable eating at this establishment.

Plant City has the best gluten free food! It’s all vegan, but is great whether you eat dairy/meat or not. They have gf pizza, buns, wraps, and bread and most of their bowls and salads are gluten free.

This was delicious! The staff was able to clearly communicate that I had celiac and my food came out with little flags indicating GF. I felt very comfortable eating there and I felt fine afterward!
Most of the menu was GF or could be made GF.

Got food poisoning here. My girlfriend and I ended up reclining and laying in the backseat of the car for a good hour because we both felt awful. They have gluten free pizza which was alright but I think we got sick off the raw vegan lasagna we ordered.
While popular, Plant City has not worked out its kinks. Gluten-containing items were marked GF on their menus (blamed on the printer but still unresolved after one week). Hostess didn't know what its burger restaurant's burgers contained, so I had a lunch of a simple salad with grilled veggies from Make Out (with guaranteed GF dressings) and was violently ill. Anyone with gluten sensitivity or food allergies should avoid at all costs!
