Worst gluten free pancakes I have ever had. If you want to feel like you’re eating sand that’s glued together this is the place to go! Not a fan of cornmeal as a pancake as pancakes should be light and fluffy I hope they change the recipe. Definitely wasn’t worth the wait at all for this

Their allergen statement says that there is always a small risk of cross contamination due to the fact that they stone mill their flour in house. Their allergen practices are otherwise sound and I was able to get GF pancakes, sausage, and fruit. The kitchen was careful to prep everything separately and the server was familiar with celiac. I did not have a reaction to the food and i am pretty sensitive to cross contamination.

What can I say I love Polly. This place was great. It was large and you did not feel like you were on top of each other. The gluten free pancakes were great. They staff was wonderful and as we walked by the open grill where they were cooking, the cooks looked up and greeted us with a big welcome. The eggs were perfect the bacon crispy as ordered. Took home an ice tea sweetened with maple syrup. It was so good. The toast does go through the same toaster but I was told that right away so I asked them to grill the toast and they were more than happy to do so. The gluten free is cooked outback on a separate grill. They also have a cute store

I love Polly’s! I’ve been going there for years and I’ve never gotten sick. The staff is knowledgeable and is able to make gluten free pancakes in the back in a pan to avoid cross contamination.

We did have to wait a bit for our food but it was a Sunday and everywhere is dealing with short staff. Me and my friend both have celiac and ate the eggs Benedict w/ a side of blueberry pancakes with their GF flour (not cornmeal pancakes!) and it was delicious! Neither of us had any reaction and the waitress was incredibly helpful

From our experience, the staff wasn’t my knowledgeable, and you have to be extremely specific as to your order and needs. They cannot guarantee no cross contamination.
My husband ordered the “gluten free cornmeal pancakes”. Apparently, they “prepared them” GF but actually made the regular cornmeal pancakes. I ordered the “cornmeal rice pancakes” (which are GF) but they didn’t prepare them GF.
In other words, they took precautions to prepare the non-GF pancakes as to not be contaminated by gluten (?!?!) but then cooked the GF pancakes with non-GF ones.
I thought the GF pancakes were tasty but pretty dry. My husband was glutened from his pancakes.

The staff was kind, knowledgeable and up front about the fact that they mill their own flours in the building: Gluten free flours (rice, cornmeal) are processed in the same room and on the same equipment as the wheat flours—so fellow celiacs beware that there is a major risk of cross contamination with any gf flour-based items (including the gf pancakes). There is a dedicated gf grill. I had poached eggs, bacon, and home fries (no onions—the onions are prepared on the non-gf grill). The meal was ok—kind of like a upscale greasy spoon diner, but not really as tasty. No reactions after eating! The pancakes are what they’re known for, but I won’t take that kind of risk.
This place is a super tourist trap. The gf pancakes are so small. All of them even reg. Ones. And you only get 3 or you have to order this 16 dollar breakfast platter which is just redic. We spent nearly 60 dollars for our 2 meals and drinks and I wouldn't recommend it unless you like touristy things and super dry gf food.
One thing I will say is that the staff is very knowledgeable and I am grateful for the waitress I had today! I had eaten here twice before and been told they are a very safe gluten free facility. Today however, I was informed that this place is extremely unsafe for people with Celiac! There is a flour mill on the top of the building, therefore you are breathing in flour from the second you enter the building. Also, they process the gluten free flour through the regular flour mill. I decided to order eggs bacon & homefries rather than pancakes. As somebody with Celiac I now feel unsafe even going to the restaurant and will not return. Good food, good staff, but simply not safe for me.

Great views, knowledgeable service and tasty food. Gluten free pancakes are cornmeal based so they tasted like cornbread. Not fan of cornbread, but otherwise everything was yummy.
Great GF food, pancakes great!
Yes
Great pancakes. Knowledgeable servers. They have a whole sheet outlining what they do to keep things as GF as possible including a separate grill. Great find. Call ahead is also available - check their website for more info!
As always Polly’s delivered a great brunch. Danielle was knowledgeable about celiac and gluten intolerance. Potato pancakes were delicious as were blueberry and coconut pancakes. Cooked to perfection with a bit of crunch. Veggie omelet was okay with fresh vegetables but could have used more cheese. Thanks for a beautiful fall view.
Found this place on the way to Clarks Trading Post. Worth the extra drive off the beaten path! Amazing atmosphere, friendly service and pancakes GF from cornmeal. We will be back!!!

Hadn't had pancakes in 2 years until today because of my Celiac disease. If you don't like corn muffins then you probably won't like their pancakes because they have the same consistency but they are very tasty! My boyfriend said the sausage gravy was absolutely amazing. Chris our server, was the best server I've ever had at any restaurant! They cooked not only my pancakes but my eggs and home fries on a separate gluten-free Grill, very accommodating!

Delicious breakfast, waiters are excellent and well educated on allergies and celiac. Can't wait to go back!

This is a wonderful fun place and I'm so glad & thankful they also do Gluten Free so well!!
We went with a large party while on vacation and three of us were GF, and everything went smoothly with our orders of yummy pancakes. Flavors are done by mix-ins so you can select exactly what flavor you want. And the maple syrup and other maple products are amazing!!!

Food and service was excellent. They make gluten free in dedicated space. We go here every time we are in the white mountains.
Great GF pancakes, eggs & BACON!!

2014: The best GF pancakes and they have a separate section of the grill for them. Polly's is a must-visit place if you're going to be near Franconia Notch State Park.
2015: Polly's has re-opened in their new building and I went back in Summer 2015. Their new building isn't quite as quaint, but the pancakes are just as good and they were very careful about GF.

This place was great! Not only did they make my pancakes gluten, dairy and egg free they were actually good! Thy cooked them on a separate grill too, which was great. Also, my husband said his regular pancakes were the best he ever had! The scenery was gorgeous too!
they were very accommodating in making sure that there was no cross contamination during cooking of the pancakes.
