They have a gluten free menu, it is very limited. They do have steak and street corn that are gluten free && is not listed on gf menu. Ask your server if they can accommodate you on options that aren’t on the gf menu. My server was very knowledgeable!

Overall the food and service were very good. The staff was very good about keeping everything gluten free. My only complaint is the gluten free menu has very few options especially when compared to the regular menu.

They have a separate gluten free menu for adults and kids. They brought my food out separately with a toothpick flag in it. I had grouper with a baked potato and veggies. The butter and sour cream were packaged and put on the side. Excellent experience for me and my son!

9/4/22 - NOT SAFE!! The whole GF community knows that mistakes happen, human error cannot be avoided, but there’s no excuse for poor management. Server checked with the kitchen about my allergies before she put in the order. (Shrimp appetizer that came with a small side of salad and French Bread). She put in the order as GF (no French Bread/no substitutes allowed). Plate came with French Bread smack on top of the salad and partly on the shrimp!! Stuff happens, right? We are used to this. Server saw it, but assured me there was no gluten in the shrimp so, and I quote: “It’s fine right?” Yikes!! Um, no. Manager came by a couple minutes later to, and I quote, “confirm that there’s no gluten in the shrimp dish. So it’s fine right?!” I was polite, but wholly appalled. Frustrated. You know, all the feelings GF people are accustomed to. I went silent during her speech about how it was definitely gluten free and it was just their mistake that they put the bread on top. She then begrudgingly offered for the kitchen to remake it. I did not feel safe so I refused. She did not offer to remove it from my bill. Needless to say, I DID NOT eat it and left hungry. I told the server to have her manager remove it from the bill. Too many other great GF places in town to bother with Pompano Joe’s. Go to My Ohana, an Asian fusion food truck, Merlin’s for pizza and wings, or Jasmine Thai if you don’t wanna be sick.

Separate gluten free menu with lots of fish options and other choices. My husband got the mahi-mahi which was good, but it was pretty bland. Make sure to order it with a side you can eat to add some extra flavor.

Our waiter went ABOVE AND BEYOND to check that what I ordered was gluten free. He brought me the gluten free menu, took down my order, then had a manager come over and review the order with me to ensure all items were safe. My order was brought out directly by the manager and I was told that it was flagged as Gluten Free in the kitchen. As a newly diagnosed celiac who has been terrified to eat out, I felt incredibly welcomed and all staff went above and beyond to be inclusive and accommodating. The red snapper was delicious, though the steamed vegetables a little bland. 10/10 recommend the experience.

Entrees can be gluten free if they are grilled. I had mahi mahi with white rice. Food tasted pretty bland. The scallop appetizer was really good. I have celiacs and did not react.

I came here and didn’t feel comfortable cross contamination wise according to other reviews and how busy they were, but I had to choose a star rating, so I went with 3. I posted a picture of the menu for those who want to take a chance/aren’t celiac. Looks like they’ve expanded the menu since the last picture was taken.
Ordered with a “gluten allergy alert” from Gf menu and was assured by my waitress with celiacs she would “take care” of me. My dish came with hush puppies smack on top. Avoid this place!!! Also, waitress added to be really safe to eat at LuLu’s. She was right they are top notch over there.
This restaurant has a separate gluten free menu you can view on their website. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi with steamed vegetables and a baked potato. I told the waitress that I had a gluten allergy, and she marked it on her notes. The food was good, however, my plate came out with two gluten hush puppies next to the fish! The waitress was upset that the kitchen had not paid attention to the order and offered to have my food remade. Since I do not have a sever allergy, I just cut off that side of the fish that was touching the hush puppies.
They had a GF menu and I felt safe eating there for lunch, but very expensive ($22 w/tip) for small piece of nicely seasoned grilled fish and a baked potato. Great service, but won't be back.

Gluten free menu which is always nice but everything was very plain, no sauces. Even ranch dressing wasn't gluten free. I posted a picture of the menu. Good but not great but seemed pretty safe. Amazing views. That was the best part. Had dinner right on the beach.
I tried to order peel and eat shrimp, when I mentioned my allergy, and no crackers, etc. She said, no, they have a GF menu and the manager will come over to speak with you. That they take allergies very seriously. GF menu is very basic, but I always appreciate it.

I used to love this place before my allergy! The gluten free options are very bland. I had the grilled (no seasoning or sauce) red snapper with veggies and a baked potato. The fish was good, but there wasn't anything special about it. It was sad to see my boyfriend eat grouper with crab toppings and sun dried tomato sauce while mine was so plain.
They just came out with a Gluten Free menu and that makes me happy!
