Delicious pizza buffet! Gluten free must be ordered -they bake it fresh. It was very very good! I was so full I didn’t ask for any gf bread or gf dessert-previous reviews said they had those.

They’ve changed how they charge for the gluten free “buffet” and it’s not very clear in the advertisements. It’s $13 for the normal buffet and then you pay $2 for every item you want. So for a GF 8 inch pizza and drink(and the salad bar, if you trust it) it’s $15. If you want to add a GF 8 inch garlic bread or cinnamon bread, it’s an additional $2 per item.

Menu online has an 8 or 12” gf pizza. They said it is not a dedicated kitchen but they make their dough in house. I have Hashimotos and felt fine afterwards. A decent crust and customizable.

Staff was very helpful and kind. They asked about the level of allergy. They have gluten free pizza, cheese bread , and dessert pizzas available. All pizzas came labeled gluten free. My young kids and I really enjoyed the crust. We had a fantastic experience, especially since Port A has limited options. We actually had to eat here because the Pasta and Seafood place who claimed to have gf options left us hungry and disappointed in the extremely limited options. Side salad and boiled (cold) shrimp. Port A Pizzeria cheered us right up in their kindness and options.

YMMV.
My daughter is about two weeks post diagnosis and I think she just had her first glutening. I knew this was a risk, heck, they even told us that the gluten free pizza was not “gluten free”, but gluten friendly. They said this was because they mix the dough in the shop and that spreads flour in the air. Honestly, I was just happy they knew about this. Based on others good experiences, we went for it. They made us the cheese pizza and chocolate dessert pizza. I was also told that the soft serve was gluten free and dairy free, so she had some of that.
They were very nice and I think for a non celiac guest it would probably be fine. The pizza was good, but it was kind of like pizza on a cracker. We prefer the tattooed chef cauliflower pizza.
Overall, we were trying to bring her to a place where she could just eat with the extended cousins. And it was nice to hope, but maybe not a good option for celiac people.

They do a great job accommodating people with gluten-free needs. When you order the buffet, you get a personal 8 inch pizza of your choice as well as your choice of either garlic cheese bread or a dessert pizza. They also ask whether it say allergy or a dietary preference, which makes me think they take cross-contamination seriously when it’s an allergy. I highly recommend!

I have ordered their gluten free pizza on several occasions for several years and have never gotten sick. They seem knowledgeable about Celiac and take precautions. After years of eating at this establishment I still recommend it.

Went today and they offered to make me a gluten free buffet. Asked what I wanted on my pizza and then brought out a dessert pizza too! I skipped the salad bar, since it was really crowded and don’t want to risk the cross contamination, but the pizza and dessert was great! It took a little while to bring it out, but I didn’t mind the wait.

We took my 8 yo with celiac and wanted to have the typical buffet (salad, soup, pizza, calzone, dessert pizza, etc). The woman at the ordering area asked my daughter specifically what she wanted and had GF breadsticks, GF sausage pizza, and GF cinnamon dessert pizza made specifically for her. She was told she could absolutely have more. It was a lot of food for a kid and she was charged the $5/kid price!! I always appreciate when staff talk to her and help her figure out what she can eat. This place was a gem! Thank you to everybody else that recommended it!

Great gluten free pizza and customer service. I have a bad gluten allergy and did not get sick. They also let you do half and half on pizza which is rare with gluten free. They also have garlic sticks but I did not order since we ordered a lot of pizza and ate it for lunch the next day.

I am GF/DF. I ordered a chicken, bacon, artichoke & spinach pizza with olive oil & garlic instead of the regular sauce which contains parm. The marinara is another DF option. I am typically weary of pizza due to the nature of its preparation, but decided to try Port A Pizzeria because of the excellent reviews. We ended up speaking with the chef who was very helpful. She prepared my pizza with all new toppings. The food was delicious!
What a great experience! It’s as wonderful as everyone said- I had a veg pizza - garlic “bread” and cinnamon dessert pizza - also the salad was ICE cold and amazing! I also had the corn chowder- i ate too much 😂🤣 - a must stop!!!

My daughter and I both have Celiac. The GF pizza was delicious and safe!

The staff was very very friendly. Willing to answer my many questions and very knowledgeable. Current price PER PERSON was $12. For less then $30 with the tip, we had more food then two people could possibly eat! Salad bar and Gluten Free corn chowder were included. I’ll definitely be returning.
Yes
GF pizza was great! Reasonably priced, great service, answered my questions re: GF options. We’ll definitely be eating here again!

Our Celiac daughter loved the pizza, garlic cheese bread, dessert pizza (half chocolate, half cinnamon) along with carefully chosen salad bar items. I would definitely recommend.

This is the most amazing pizza place ever!! You can get a deal of pizza, bread sticks, and dessert pizza. Went 2 nights in a row didn’t feel sick at all. Shout out to Shelby and Chelsea for all their help. They are amazing 😍

We usually don’t leave restaurant reviews, but this place was great! They have great gluten free items, and the workers were very accommodating to my allergy. In the buffet, they bring you your own separate garlic bread, pizza, and desert pizza where nothing gets cross contaminated. They also have daily gf soups which were equally as yummy!
Yes
They have gf soup, dessert pizza, garlic bread pizza and pizza! I had to try it all, I was so excited, it was all delicious!!
Great pizza with buffet option for others
Our group of celiacs and non celiacs had a fantastic meal. They were very aware of cross contamination. Us gluten free eaters got the “buffet” so we were able to eat the very fresh and tasty salad bar. Then they brought us our own fresh gf pizzas, appetizer garlic bread and dessert pizza too. I don’t usually care for pizza much but it was delicious. Everyone left stuffed and happy! No issues for my very sensitive husband at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in Port A
Yes
Will do personal pizza and dessert pizza for the same price as buffet with the drink. Totally get it and take full cross contamination precautions.
Yes
wow!!! Very good pizza, very accomodating. and as a huge bonus you even have Stevia. Clean store. great prices, and great service too!
Yes
Great GF pizza. For a pizza place this is about as celiac friendly one can get. We will come back.
Yes
Great pizza at a great price. Highly recommended for celiacs and non GF.

Best pizza ever! They now offer a gluten free buffet, where they bring you the items of the salad bar you want and the pizza you want. super friendly and amazing food.
Yes
We could order the gluten free pizza from the buffet! Yay!! On vacation here, but we will return if we're ever this way again. The gluten free pizza was delish! The crust tasted homemade.
Update: came here on our third trek to Port A. Again, the gf pizza was delicious!! And even though we ordered the buffet, my gf kiddos had choices- gf breadsticks, gf pizza, and even gf dessert pizza!! What a great establishment! We appreciate the choices for our gf kids.

wow. very caring and knowledgeable staff. i felt so well taken care of! i love this place and will come back every time Im in Pt A. they kept me both gf and dairy free here. feeling nothing but love for these guys!

Port A Pizzeria is great! Like the other reviewer noted, I was able to order a custom gluten AND dairy free pizza (subbed goat feta for mozzarella), same for the garlic sticks, and got a dessert GF pizza too. All of this for the buffet price. They were super accommodating, great service AND the crust was tasty - not cardboard. Definitely worth the price upcharge and walk. Will come here again.
Great staff. Gluten free pizza was awesome and they gave me buffet price. Pizza, garlic bread and dessert pizza all gluten free plus salad and a drink $12!
Yes
Very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. I was very excited to know they also had dessert for me. Excellent place to eat if you are Celiac and have been missing Pizza . The staff is very friendly I will come here every time I am in Port Aransas. Kudos to Port A pizzeria!
They understood instantly. got to order pizza and dessert pizza for the very generous buffe, which included a gf soup. Yay!!

I just got back from a beach vacation with my husband. I read reviews and they were all good, so we went here for lunch. They were very accommodating for my GF needs and they brought out a pizza just for me. I was able to get cinnamon dessert pizza, which was AMAZING!! My husband was laughing because I about cried when I ate it. We ended up coming back for dinner that same night. I had GF cheese bread, GF pepperoni and pineapple pizza, and GF cinnamon dessert pizza. I already can't wait to go back!!
Yes
I've always had wonderful experiences here, never have gotten sick! My favorite place in port A. I always get my personal pizza though instead of the buffet option, I feel safer that way. I'd recommend this to anyone who can't have gluten!
Yes
this place is like gluten free heaven!!!
Yes
Staff really knows gluten free. They have separate surfaces for gluten free, and can make gf pizza, gf cheesy garlic bread sticks and gf dessert pizza. We got the all you can eat buffet for $12pp (included $2 up charge for gluten free, tax and fountain drink). GF items are made fresh per order so there is no cross contamination on the buffet. Highly recommend!
Yes
Nice GF pizza. Just a short hop over to the beach, so we ordered two pizzas and ate on the beach.
Delicious GF pizza! I ordered an 8" Supreme pizza and they made it fresh for me. They also make a 12" gf. They charged me an extra $2 to add on the salad bar. Their savory tomato basil soup was a perfect addition to the pizza. The 8 in pizza serves 1-2 people if you add the salad bar. I would highly recommend Port A Pizzeria.
Yes
Awesome! I felt very safe eating here. I have Celiac disease, so I'm very picky. They answered all of my questions and were very knowledgable. They delivered a GF pizza to our table, I had the salad bar with Italian dressing (the kept the salad bar very clean), and I had ice cream. They went above and beyond to answer my questions. It's very laid back, so you can go in your beach clothes if you want. On top of all of that, it was only $10!
Yes
The most friendliest place ever for GF people :) they offer a buffet of pizza , salad, pasta , desserts , and cheeses bread !!!! ( pasta lovers must phone in ahead , so that pasta is prepared ahead of time ) staff is friendly and very helpfully with GF allergy and will allow to take your leftovers home . Perfect 10 and a must eat it family buffet .
This is a decent spot to grab a gf bite with plenty of gf options including buffet service or your own table pie, pizza, dessert pizza, salad, and soup. Staff assured us that their gf pizza is prepared in a separate area. They can add gf pizzas to the buffet per your request but if you are concerned with contamination you can have your own pizza sent to your table for a small surcharge and still enjoy the unlimited salad, soup, and drink bars. We opted to have our own pie brought to our table and helped ourselves to the salad bar. I did not feel any ill effects from contamination afterwards. The buffet was constantly monitored and cleaned and the entire area was clean with no crumbs on our table. Our pizza was a bit bland especially without extra toppings, not out-of-this-world fantastic but not terrible. I might opt to request more tomato sauce next time. The salad bar was good, clean, I didn't see any croutons, and they have packaged dressing options with labeled ingredients. I would go back and eat there again and definitely have a try at their dessert pizzas.
