Red Robin is hit and miss, I had good luck when I had Margaret or Megan as a server, because they both understand CELIAC because of friends/family with it. On another night I had Ryan, and he messed up submitting the orders, clearly, even when both orders were separate and told to be separate tickets from the start to keep mine entirely gluten free. Well the burgers came out and I questioned it since things were off and not as requested. Even a manager swore my meal was made with their gf protocols, when she wouldn't have them remake it after I questioned the mess up of giving my sister a gf bun she didn't order, and that my lettuce wrapped veggie burger was likely not treated as gf if the server put it in backwards and hers had a gf bun. Well, one bite into my veggie burger lettuce wrap, and BAM a French fried ONION STRAW stuck to the bottom of my burger. So they completely messed up, even with separate checks, separate orders, and wouldn't remake it when I questioned it, the manager basically yelled at me insisting it was fine. I was so sick, even after spitting it all out as soon as I tasted it. I was sooooooooo pissed. Haven't been back since.

When we were asked about ordering, my husband specified that I need gluten free. The server said there’s a dedicated fryer for fries, and ran down a list of things to avoid. He made sure the kitchen staff knew what accommodations needed made. I usually feel a reaction within 15-20 minutes, and I had zero issues after this visit. I am confident in going back again.

Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Eaten here numerous times over the last 6 years. Never had an issue with this location. They’re super helpful and have a dedicated fryer (just clarify)

Bun was one of the best I have ever eaten and their fries were awesome. The gf menu is on an iPad.
The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable on gluten free menu items. He double checked that we had an allergy and informed all the kitchen staff to be extra cautious. Later the manager came by to check on us and informed us that our meals were handled in a separate area than the normal meals to prevent cross contamination. :) we both got the gourmet cheeseburger. I ordered mine with no bun(can't stand fake bread) my husband ordered his with a GF bun. I tried the bun and it actually was pretty good. Over all, the burgers were good. Side of steamed broccoli was sub par- I didn't know you could mess up steamed veggies. But staff was friendly and accommodating. If you go, you MUST try the sweet potatoes!!
Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

Always a trusted option when looking to eat out
My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.
