I came here last week because they have an extensive app with allergens. I have Celiac disease and need to eat gluten free. I told the waitress I have Celiac and asked for them to change gloves and inquired about if they have a separate fryer for gluten free fries. She said that they did.
I ordered a lettuce wrapped "burning love" burger, subbing out the fried jalapeño coins for regular pickled jalapeños and sweet potato fries.
Service was sloooow. Water refills were non existent until our food arrived.
My burger came with a purple allergy pick in it. As I was eating, I noticed something scratchy. Deep fried jalapeño coins. Gluten is anything with wheat, barley, rye or cooked in a shared fryer with those things. I even went back and looked at a video clip I filmed of my burger and noticed in one part I could see a fried jalapeño coin with the allergy pick. I'll include the screenshot. I wish I had noticed that before I ate it!
Staff remade my burger and took it off my bill, but I still had to go to the restroom to throw up and I was sick for the next 4 days while on my trip to LA.
Celiac is an autoimmune disease, not an allergy. I'm not going to have an allergic reaction that requires an EpiPen. No, instead my body will start to destroy my own intestines and cause intestinal bleeding and other gastro-related issues. 1 glutening with just a crumb of gluten will elevate my antibodies in my blood work for up to 3 months after the event.
My burger came with refillable fries. Once I got the remade burger the waitress asked my husband if he'd like a refill of my sweet potato fries (???) and forgot to make them in the dedicated fryer as they didn't have the allergy marker. Ridiculous.
Red Robin markets itself as a place that can handle allergens and dietary restrictions. It seems that's all a marketing ploy. Their entire staff needs to be retrained on food safety. They could kill someone being this flippant.

Just overall a poor experience. They do have a really good online menu to help you find gluten free things, but plan ahead and know what you’re getting because the servers are not knowledgeable about what has gluten etc.
If you have a serious allergy I wouldn’t recommend eating here because considering how poorly the rest of the place is kept, I don’t think they are as cautious about cross contamination. Note that their fries do contain gluten, I believe it’s in the seasoning and according to the website that cannot be omitted.

Never have a problem here. Staff is well trained and understand to treat as an allergy.

Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Consistently eat here with no issues, which includes my gluten free family members as well. Red Robin takes the gluten free customer very seriously, nationwide, and this location is no exception. Love my g-free Red Robin burger and no season fries!

Enjoy burgers here about every other month. They offer Udi's gluten free buns, however I order my burger without to lower my carbs intake.
Only got fries but they were good with no noticeable gluten reaction and server was very nice. They announced gf fries with pick and bottomless so again with new basket.

I went with my family last night and they took us being gluten-free seriously. (I do it mostly for my dad who cannot eat gluten or he will get sick.)
They serve gluten-free buns and lettuce wraps, in addition to other gluten free items.
None of us feel sick or bad from it, which is great! I'm sure we'll be eating there again. Although, we don't typically eat out unless it's for a party (which it was).

They knew what to do. The manager was very present and intentional, as well as the wait staff.

Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)
