Everything on Renegado Tacos and Margaritas is GF. They substitute soft corn tacos for all their taco options. We had the queso dip to begin, followed by a cup of the roasted corn bisque, and four different tacos. They do tell you that the corn chips for the salsa, queso might have a slight contamination in the fryer. Full bar. We watched the Super Bowl here. Wait staff was very knowledgeable about having to eat gluten free. Nice find in Denver, CO close to the airport.

They said some of their meats and tortillas are gf but everything is made together on the same grill. I asked about cooking something in a separate pan but they said they were too busy so I was only able to order a salad with no meat, nothing fried and nothing grilled.

Went in and were told that the tacos could be made gluten free with a corn tortilla but the chips are fried in a shared fryer so not gluten free. We didn’t stay as we were hoping for nachos!

Sat at the bar and had a yummy $8 marg and chips from the dedicated fryer with salsa. Tomato salsa was better than the tomatillo but both were tasty. 10/10 for having dedicated fryer chips. Would return to eat a full meal.

I was really excited to try this place based on the reviews, but when we showed up, a member of staff informed us that the kitchen wasn’t celiac safe. They said that a celiac family member was sick after they ate here. I’m so glad they told me but it was definitely disappointing.

What a great experience. Especially for Celiac/Gluten free peeps. Was able to talk to the head chef Sarah about options available 😀. Was told that the chips have a separate fryer and they can make the tacos in corn tortillas or lettuce wraps. The queso and green chili are both GF and made with corn starch instead of a rue. Had the nachos as well as the Island carnitas, Blue Suede chicken and Braised Short rib tacos. (The fried shallots and leeks are non breaded and fried in the GF fryer). What an fabulous find. They do not promote the dedicated fryer in case of cross contamination. Loved the dinner and the experience btw the Rosa and house margaritas are delicious. Will be back

I’m going to start this review off with a disclaimer that this was my own personal experience. The reviews here are so conflicting that we finally decided to go in and try this place out. We wound up speaking with Sarah the head chef who runs the kitchen. Yes the chips are gf and they keep it a dedicated fryer. She doesn’t like to advertise it because the one in a million chance something accidentally falls in. That being said we can have 99% of this menu as celiac gluten free. The green chili has a cornstarch base instead of a rue. The only taco they don’t recommend is the cauliflower as it can be flash fried in the non gluten free fryer. For dinner we had the Nachos, carnitas, brisket, blue suede and island carnitas on corn tortillas. Everything was so fresh and tasty including the margaritas! Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! Great wait staff and it was Sarah who made our night!

Delicious tacos! No dedicated fryer, so avoid chips and anything else fried. Still plenty of options. The place was busy the whole time we were there, but the service was pretty good despite it.

I am Celiac. They could make tacos for me on corn tortillas and gluten-free. Waitress was very in tune to my needs as Celiac. Waitress marked the ticket as gluten allergy. She made sure that the kitchen cleaned off the grill and didn’t put the tacos near any of the other tacos. She then came back twice to let me know what they were doing. They do NOT have a dedicated fryer though. So the chips are deep-fried in the same fryer as the flour items. Someone else listed on the review that they had a dedicated fryer but they do not. I had a amazing margarita. I just like the plain margarita on the rocks. Only tequila lime juice and sugar so gluten-free. Tacos are somewhat small so if you order something lighter like chicken you may need to order a few. Steak ones were heartier. The only complaint was the corn tortillas themselves were not very tasty. That’s why I gave it four stars instead of five. But the fillings of the tacos were great.

Love their melon margarita! $8, medium size. Had three different tacos and enjoyed them all. One of the chicken ones had pickled pomegranate seeds and pineapple. Unique and very good! Also had the shrimp and grilled fish tacos. All tasted great to me. Waitress didn’t know a lot but asked the kitchen for me about GF.

I was worried about coming here without there being prior reviews. Our first waitress said only the carnitas were gluten free, but I clarified with another worker who mentioned that they have changed their taco recipes and all tacos can be made gluten free. They put all gluten free tacos on corn tortillas. I had two chicken tacos and one beef taco (they both came with lots of toppings). They tasted great! I told them I had a gluten allergy and that they needed to avoid cross contamination, which they said they would do. Their queso sauce has gluten so I didn’t eat the nachos, but they looked great! I bet you can ask for them without the queso.
