I let the cashier know that my daughter had celiac and they said no problem. Promptly washed the carving board and knives. I looked at their allergen menu online before going in—Nearly all meat (except the pulled pork) is GF. Lots of side options too. No reaction.

Just felt this place needed an update since it only had one negative review. I took a risk and went in blind - I had their baby back ribs, cole slaw, and potato salad and was completely fine.
Claim to have gluten free options however staff does not use gloves and is not educated on gluten - they thought it was butter. I contacted the manager the next day as I was violently ill afterwards and all he did was defend their procedures - that no one has ever asked them to wear gloves after handling bread when serving a celiac. Why do they have an allergen menu if they aren't going to have the simplest of procedures in place to ensure that cross contamination doesn't occur?
No
Wasn’t terribly hungry so just requested two slices of the turkey breast and a small container of their coleslaw, both were indicated as gluten free. I did not feel good the next day, mild symptoms of being glutened. I believe there was some cross-contamination.

Rudy’s now has gluten free buns for their bbq sandwiches! They are very good and don’t fall apart which is a plus. All of their bbq sauces are also certified gf
