Very gluten friendly! Their BBQ sauce is all gluten free, all of the meets are gluten free except the pork. They handed me a pamphlet with clearly labeled gluten free items.

I love their meats! Be sure to mention your celiac disease and need to avoid cross contamination because they touch slices of bread when pulling orders and need a glove change, etc. Also, some old info and reviews say that all sides are gluten-free but that is not true. Current recipes have gluten in the green Chile stew and the cream corn. Always check for current info before ordering.

This was our first time trying Rudy’s since Hutchins BBQ was closed temporarily from fire damage and we were craving BBQ. We were thankful for the GF options, and the potato salad is delicious! But the meats? They taste kinda blah. Being fairly new to North Texas, I guess once you’ve had Hutchins, there’s no point looking elsewhere. At least not this particular location.

Meats are mostly gluten free except for pulled pork. I got glutened by the creamed corn which has wheat in it so be careful.

Yes

Knowledgeable staff- great food and service. Breakfast bowls are delish too!

Every time I come here, the staff is great. The chef will change his cutting boards and get a new knife. EI’ve used my Nima sensor on the smoked turkey on multiple occasions and gluten is never detected. Bbq sauce is also GF! We love this place !

Celiac friendly?

Yes

I enjoyed this, I’m vegetarian so it’s hard to say. However I was advised the majority of the meat is gluten free. They will do clean chopping boards, knives and gloves if needed. I personally had a baked potato with coleslaw, I also tried the potato salad. It was delicious

Wasn’t terribly hungry so just requested two slices of the turkey breast and a small container of their coleslaw, both were indicated as gluten free. I did not feel good the next day, mild symptoms of being glutened. I believe there was some cross-contamination.

Rudy’s now has gluten free buns for their bbq sandwiches! They are very good and don’t fall apart which is a plus. All of their bbq sauces are also certified gf
