I was so excited to find an Italian restaurant with gluten free pasta because Italian food is the thing I miss most about being gluten free. Unfortunately, I had a terrible, yet predictable, reaction to eating their pasta so I do not believe it was truly gluten free. My daughter ordered regular penne and her pasta looked just like mine. It was delicious to eat, but I am paying for it in sickness.
No
Sal's does not have a designated GF menu, per se, but they do have GF pasta. As a Celiac, I asked many questions about the menu and and had the server double check the dish I chose, stressing the fact that cross contamination is a real issue for me. She was happy to speak with the chef on my behalf. I am very sensitive to Gluten- the "safe" 20ppm is not necessarily safe for me -and so far I've faired well. It was also quite delicious!
Have gluten free pasta!
