They had a gluten free menu, however no substitutions like pasta or bread. Most of the seafood could be done grilled, broiled, or blackened as opposed to fried!

I had the grilled shrimp, scallops with baked potato and salad. No reaction to the food but I was not impressed with the taste of the food.

Server was familiar with gluten allergies and I felt comfortable eating there. Several seafood options to choose from.

Our waitress was very sweet and caring. Knew little about the safety of items on the menu but was willing to ask. I did not get sick, but I have other minor allergies and there were slip ups and miscommunications about seasonings on those so my overall confidence in communication between waitress and chef wasn't high.
They offered to replace the item with the seasoning I couldn't eat, so they did try to be accommodating.
Overall, nice people, average food, average price for seafood, but I don't know if I would feel safe going here often.
Their menu does have several broiled or grilled items that aren't cooked where fried things are, so that certainly helps give options and keep things safer even with poor communication among staff.

We ate here on July 4th. Beautiful water view. They have a separate GF menu. Our server was very knowledgeable on GF options. Most of the seafood could be prepared blackened or broiled. I have celiac and did not have any issues. I had blackened Mahi Mahi, salad (no croutons) and a baked potato.

My husband and I split our meals of Mahi and Tuna blackened. Excellent. Great side salad too. Server wasn't savvy but kept going back to kitchen asking about certain foods. They recommended the Shrimp Scampi and would put on rice or grits but we didn't go that direction. Server also queried about each salad dressing and each of the side dressings that came with our fish.

The staff wasn't too knowledgeable but our server suggested I'd be safe ordering from the grilled section of the menu. I had grilled salmon with vegetables (green beans cooked in butter, garlic and ham hock) and a side salad. It was all delicious, I didn't get a stomach ache and I have celiac. Would recommend!!
I went here twice while on vacation, that's how good it was. They don't have a gluten free menu but most items on the menu are gluten free or can be modified. The staff would check on every item to make sure. Had the pan seared salmon and the sautéed shrimp. Both were delicious.
