Got really sick from here!

I informed the server of my gluten allergy and triple checked that everything was gluten free. Server seemed annoyed at my asking if what I ordered was gluten free, and was not knowledgeable. I should’ve taken this as a sign and just left, but I was having a girls night so I stayed.

I ordered a cowboy salad with dressing on the side, and the dressing came on the salad. No big deal, but I got really sick from here.

Our waitress was the sweetest. She understood food allergies and was willing to shuttle back and forth between the kitchen with my annoying questions. The food was awesome! And the bathrooms were super clean. We will be back!

Today I went here for lunch with a friend. I had the Kale Salad pictured above. My friend had two Fish Tacos. Both were very good. The Kale Salad was on the daily sheet so might not always be available I usually eat a salad here and haven't had the problems other reviewers have. Today I was told they no longer have a gluten free menu.

Ate here again with family for my birthday and had a great GF meal, Fish Tacos. Very tasty but a little hard to eat. Had BBQ Ribs as an appetizer. They do have a GF menu.

I had eaten here before and had the Cowboy Salad. I thought it was good and unlike the other reviewer, I didn't get sick.

2/13/2017 Today I ordered the Dragon Bowl as did my other two companions. Since they make it with teriyaki sauce I requested it without. It came with steamed chicken which was bland and tasteless. I was expecting grilled chicken and would not order it again. Just because we're gluten free doesn't mean we don't want tasty, seasoned food. They no longer have a gluten free menu.

Butternut squash, goat cheese, almonds, quinoa and kale salad with chicken.
I think it had Apple-miso dressing.
Two Halibut Tacos with Seafood Sauce and Guacamole. Ask to have the halibut pan fried to be safe.

Tips

Asymptomatic Celiac

This is not an Asian style restaurant-it has what some would call ”American style” even though corporate is in Canada.

Informed the server we were allergic to Gluten. Ordered bacon, eggs and potatoes (confirmed seasoning was just salt and pepper). After 40 minutes our breakfast came out with toast in the plate and fries that had been fried in cross contaminated oil because they ran out of breakfast potatoes. Not safe!

The cowboy salad is pretty much the only option and it isn't that great. Plus, even after I told them I couldn't eat gluten, the salad came out with bread on the plate. The servers don't care much about accommodating food needs; just look at the yelp reviews. I was sick for days even though they "made me a new one." I had to go here for a business dinner, or I would never have chosen this place.

Promoting the appetizers at half price and then on the

bill they are full price. They are always sorry, and run back

to the cash register and correct the bill, but we are so tired

of this.

Newer upscale restaurant with outdoor eating terrace open in nice weather. Very popular for business lunches so can get quite noisy. They no longer have a GF menu, but they do have GF options. Cowboy Salad is one of my favorites. If you want a nice presentation tell them not to mix it all together.
