We eat Serious Texas at least twice a month. If you like Austin’s Terry Blacks bbq, you’ll love Serious TX. Everything is mouthwatering! Try the platter for nice sampling. Their nacho chips used to be GF but no one can confirm if they still are gf so ask. Enjoy!

Absolutely incredible! I have severe celiac and a gluten allergy so I can get sick very easy. When I walk in and tell them I have an allergy, I don’t even have to explain to them to change their gloves, cutting board, and cutting tools. They do it already! I have never been sick from here. Incredible experience and would recommend!

Staff changed gloves and made my food right in front of me so I could see it was not cross contaminated. Excellent friendly FAST service ! Huge servings & great BBQ!!! I recommend the 'Tater and the 1/2 rack of ribs.

Not pleased with safe handling of what should have been gf. Didn't change gloves before serving me while he was telling me all the gf options they had. Cole slaw was very good!

They were very celiac aware. Their meats and sauces and most of their sides were GF. The woman in charge also changed out the cutting board and knife and she had every one change their gloves. Great food and great atmosphere.

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant several times, while traveling through the area....but only once since he was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.We were quite pleased to find that the staff seemed quite knowledgeable about what items on their menu were gluten free and the ones that were not. All of their meats and most of their side items, are gluten free. Some of the desserts are also gluten free.Since the cutting area is used for meats as well as their bread, they quickly told us that they would be changing their cutting board out for a clean one and they also changed their gloves, for our order.Hubby and I were both impressed with the friendly service and their awareness of cross contamination.Oh, and the BBQ and sauces/condiments are excellent! The smoked turkey is our favorite. We got extra to have leftovers, the next day! :-)

What lovely people! I got ribs, chopped beef, brisket, and turkey and I could eat it all! They wiped down the prep station and everyone put on new gloves!

They didn’t seem too confident on what was gf or not because they said their Mac and cheese was gf and I questioned them and then they said it’s not. All of their meat is supposed to be gf so I got the chicken and the nima came back with a :). I didn’t get sick and their bbq sauce that they sell is gf.
