Review of Serious Texas Bar-B-Q

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant several times, while traveling through the area....but only once since he was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.We were quite pleased to find that the staff seemed quite knowledgeable about what items on their menu were gluten free and the ones that were not. All of their meats and most of their side items, are gluten free. Some of the desserts are also gluten free.Since the cutting area is used for meats as well as their bread, they quickly told us that they would be changing their cutting board out for a clean one and they also changed their gloves, for our order.Hubby and I were both impressed with the friendly service and their awareness of cross contamination.Oh, and the BBQ and sauces/condiments are excellent! The smoked turkey is our favorite. We got extra to have leftovers, the next day! :-)
