Showed up 7 months pregnant.. Explained my allergy to the waitress. Received food. Food tasted good, but ended up with a macaroni noodle in my coffee. Was sick for 3 days. Will never go back, and would not recommend.

So had an interesting experience with them this morning. We went in for breakfast. We usually hit Seven Mile either Saturday of Sunday virtually every week and our bill is usually over $100. There are 5 of us. We’ve been doing this for over a decade at this point. Started at HV location and have migrated to Lewisville. So I bet I’ve handed them $60+K in that time with tips. Today the staff told us we couldn’t have outside food or drink. My wife and I had our coffee still as it hadn’t been consumed (the stuff in my morning coffee I can’t get from them, but mostly it’s nutrition supplements). We bring in cups a lot, not every time we are in but most we would. Today was the first time this was mentioned. I spoke to the manager and was told they have a sign posted. Now this really isn’t on them and they were friendly enough. But the policy has some issues. Do they know we purchase drinks every week? I still would have had a $5 Iced NOLA with oat milk, but they wanted us to take the cups to the car. I’m not coming back in if I have to leave to take my cup back outside. In fact I’m likely never coming back. It’s unfortunate. What does it cost to replace a client? Who knows, but they would not have lost any revenue this morning by allowing us to bring out drinks in. They did lose at least $100 and server lost $20 because they wouldn’t. Maybe they are busy enough that this doesn’t matter to them. Generally the food is really good and the service is good or adequate. Otherwise we wouldn’t have been going there for 10+ yrs. Policy is policy and they have the right to implement any policy they want. Maybe they should enforce it consistently or maybe have a conversation with the clients. For all the know based on the interaction today was they I had a cup and was going to add my coffee from them to my cup? I see outside cups inside regularly from others. So I know it’s not just us. Anyway they need to re-evaluate the enforcement of the policy. I’ll guess I’ll be taking my next $60K somewhere else.
If you have a food allergy issue this becomes a bigger deal. If they can’t serve you and other want to try it you have to skip because you can’t have your own food. Nothing Gluten Free only labeled Gluten Friendly. All same kitchen same staff same appliances. Would need to be careful.

Went at lunch time, ordered their BLT sandwich, with gluten-free bread, and was offered soup or salad as a starter. I asked if the soup was gluten-free as well, and the waiter was unsure but offered “maybe” and did not offer to confirm until I asked whether he could. Was offered chips and salsa as a side; the waiter suggested he was “pretty sure” those were gluten-free. The waiter did not return with confirmation about the soup, however, and the soup was delivered. The waitress who dropped it off also didn’t know whether it was gluten-free, and didn’t offer to confirm. I waited several more minutes until the original waiter returned, still without the answer; he left to confirm that the chip strips on top of the soup were likely contaminated in the fryer and offered to have the kitchen remake the soup. Many more minutes passed before a new soup was delivered, along with, finally, our drinks. At the end of the meal, my husband got an alert that our credit card had been charged twice, two different fees. When we asked the waiter, he shared he’d accidentally used our credit card for another table’s bill, but had then cancelled the charge. He would not otherwise have shared this information.
While there were many gluten-free options clearly listed on their menu (including pancakes, waffles, etc), their staff were unclear, and unmotivated to figure out, which of their other menu items were gluten-free and safe. The service was so concerning, and the presence of gluten so unclear, that I avoided eating most of my meal. My husband suggested we not return since it was such a stressful meal experience.

Terrible if you have dairy problems (cream in eggs normally, and in GF pancake and waffle batter). Waited 2 hours to leave after realizing all the dairy everywhere. I even told them I had food allergies (plural).
Lots of clearly labeled gluten free options. Delicious gluten free pancakes
Yes
Best GF pancakes in the world!!
Has GF pancakes and waffles :)
Great food, but SUPER PRICEY!!!
Yes
I love this place. they have several gluten free options to choose from and will make anything to order. The smoked gouda the grits are one of the most decadent things I've eaten in a long time. I'm gluten allergic and thus place is a great find!
I had the pancake sampler of Blueberries n’ creme, banana Nutella, and the berry bliss and my mouth was watering for everything else I could eat on the menu! Waffles, toast, even coffee cake! Seriously, when was the last time you saw gf coffee cake on a menu? Went there yesterday and am trying to convince my husband we have to back today. Great coffee with a fun laid back atmosphere. Seriously, check it out!
It says on that website that if you have celiac disease, they urge you not to order off there menu.
No
The GF pancakes are Great, light and fluffy.
Amazing! More gluten free options than I have ever seen for breakfast (pancakes, waffles, coffee cake, just to name a few) and delicious. Service was wonderful.
So many terrific options! Seven Mile tops my list of favorite places-- great food, great service, and even the coffee is a step above the rest.
Exceptional service most days, but this place is quite popular, so you might have to wait to be seated. They use Local Oven breads, Udi's bagels... even gluten free pancakes and waffles. And they're GOOD.
Be sure to get a 7Mile Latte. $5 for a latte, but well worth it.
