For whatever reason, they can't seem to get the order correct when we order gluten free, and this has happened multiple time. I realize mistakes happen, but this exceeds the occasional mistake. As good as the pizza is, its time to go elsewhere.

I had the best pizza of my life here and the workers were cautious about cross contamination. Although they cannot guarantee anything will be contaminated, they used a different tray while cooking and changed their gloves before making my pizza. They also have a choice between a gluten free crust or a cauliflower crust.

Cross contamination EVERYTHING!!!! First of all the employee made a gluten pizza before mine (I’m also vegetarian and there was meat on the pizza that she touched with her gloves) and I ordered a gluten free one and I had to ask her to change her gloves. All the toppings have other toppings in their little dishes. I watched this woman drop a topping on the counter and scoop it back up and put it on someone’s pizza. That’s disgusting. There is so much cross contamination here it is awful.

Snap recently changed there allergy policy and now do not accommodate to allergies. I ate there thinking I could risk it and got really sick. Depends on your sensitivity you would maybe be able eat there but I wouldn’t risk it definitely not celiac safe.

Daughter got the GF crust on a regular cheese pizza. It was tasty and she didn’t get sick. It was cooked on a special tin to keep it separate from the cooking surface.

AMAZING! Everyone who worked there was so knowledgeable about ingredients & were very willing to make accommodations. Great prices if you like to customize your pizzas - meaning they don't upcharge for every little thing like most places do these days. Overall 5/5 experience. The atmosphere is inviting & the inside is clean. The customer service was absolutely amazing & I felt very safe eating here. NOTE: they have all ingredients/allergens listed on their webite,, so it would be helpful to check before going.

Used to be a regular place, but they recently changed their allergy policy and now don’t cater to celiacs. My wife risked it anyways (she has a gluten sensitivity too) and she got sick. A shame to lose a regular spot. Good pizza though

no longer allows workers to make the pizza off the line and make the pizza with uncontaminated ingredients. They claimed it takes too long and doesn’t make a difference

Very knowledgeable and accommodating staff! They used a separate space to prepare my GF pizza, washed hands/changed gloves before touching anything, and took toppings from new containers. The pizza was delicious and I haven’t had any reactions from it in the several times I’ve eaten here.

They have a gluten free pizza crust. When you ask for GF, they ask if it’s preference or allergy. If allergy they change gloves. The staff did a nice job alerting each other of the allergy and I watched them take the GF pizza out of the oven to a different spot and cut it with a different utensil. Well done

I have celiac disease and was visiting family in State College, PA from Tennessee. I went to Snap Pizza and was impressed. The workers prepared my pizza in a separate area, used separate utensils, separate ingredients, new gloves, and a dedicated oven. I felt that they were very knowledgeable and had great customer service. The pizza was delicious! Will go here any time I'm in the area.
Have loved this place since they’ve opened, however some of the workers don’t take the same precautions that others do. They make their GF pizzas off the main line if you have an allergy/Celiac which is awesome....however my last SNAP pizza was made off the line but right next to the NON GF dough they were making (flour on the counter all around it). Love their pizzas but keeping an eye out from now on!

awesome/knowledgeable staff, great food, quick service, all around great experience
Tasty pizza. They offer gluten free crust- if you choose it they ask if it is allergy or preference. When you choose allergy, they make it off the line for you with all fresh ingredients. I’ve tried this place several times and it was great! My only complaint would be one of the times I visited, an employee I hadn’t seen before put my tray on the line where all the normal pizzas had been before asking if I wanted it made off the line and moving it. Otherwise my experiences have been great!

Very knowledgeable staff! Prepare the gluten free pizza in a dedicated work space. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Just be sure to mention you have celiac before you order. They will prepare the pizza in a separate area and are vigilant not to cross contaminate. Eaten there many times with my very sensitive celiac son and he has never gotten sick.

The staff was very accommodating! They have two safe crust options: a regular gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust. Upon ordering the GF crust I was asked if it was a preference or an allergy, and upon letting them know it was an allergy they asked if I would like my pizza to be made in a separate kitchen off the normal production line with toppings not yet put out in the line. I was pleased with this suggestion and took them up on the offer for this accommodation. They then asked for what all I would like in the pizza, which was simple to navigate because they have printed menus readily available that indicate what items are GF. It was a great experience and the pizza was very good and rather inexpensive for the size of the pizza and mounds of toppings! I paid around $10 and got two solid meals out of the pizza. I enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

Sensitive Celiac It is cafeteria style. I was able to see my pizza being made, and taken out the oven. They were very careful with my gluten free pizza. Changed gloves, used different pans and cutter for gluten free only pizza. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Pizza was good.

I eat here all the time and most of the time I don’t worry too much about cross contamination as much as a should. When you order a gluten free pizza here, there is a likely chance of contamination. If you specifically tell them you have a gluten allergy they will make the pizza in the back. I have only told them once though so I am not sure if all of the staff is aware of this.

Awesome pizza place.
At first it takes a minute to read the menu - they mark the items that have Gluten. 95% of the menu toppings are GF.
When you order your pizza and tell them it is GF for an allergy they write it down and make the pizza in the dedicated kitchen space in the back.
Then the GF pizzas (only GF) are baked on the top rack of the oven to prevent cross contamination.
The pizza was delicious (I did not get sick) and we will be back.

The menu was hard to read. It was on a display they kept changing. When I asked about gluten free, I was asked allergy or preference. When I said I have celiac, the employee said I just cannot have barbecue sauce or meatballs. The staff changed gloves and made the pizza on the back counter, using food in separate containers in a back frig. It was placed on the top of the conveyor belt oven. I am not sure if gluten pizzas are also placed there. When it came out, another employee asked if I needed the cold toppings from the back. No problem. Only the sauce is from the front, used for all pizzas. I declined it, as I prefer he not touch a glutened container. It was delicious and I was not sick. I will go back. I appreciate all the steps they take.
