I happened to be at the fairgrounds and looked this place up on Find Me Gluten Free. To be honest after looking at the menu I didn't have high hopes. The chef came out to talk with me. I decided on the blackberry grilled cheese on gf bread and housemade chips. Later she brought out a vegan gf dessert...strawberry shortcake! I highly recommend South Side!

Did not have a gluten free menu but our waiter was very helpful about which items could be made gluten free. There were lots of choices my turkey sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. The fries were fried in separate fryer. Highly recommend.

Great place to eat. The food was flavorful, the atmosphere casual and the server was outstanding. They are aware and respectful of food challenges. There is a dedicated gluten-free fryer. The kitchen was trying a new GF and vegan Strawberry Shortcake dessert for Spring. The chef came out and asked my opinion on the flavor and texture.

We tried this last night and had a great experience. I had the garlic Parmesan wings and French fries which were delicious. It’s the next day now and I had no symptoms whatsoever. My friend who also has celiac got a burger on gluten free bun and also had no issues. The server definitely understood and took good care of us. The only thing I’ll say is that it’s a first come first serve thing with the seating and there isn’t a host so we had to wander around for awhile looking for tables with people about to leave which was kind of annoying. We’d definitely go back though! So glad to have a place nearby where you can get gluten free bar food!

Yum! We came in based on the reviews here and on Google and were not disappointed. Hubby had the burger on a toasted Udi’s bun with house chips. I had the harvest salad with grilled chicken. We shared an order of fries which we ordered because we often find house chips to be flavorless and cold. Turns out it was all delicious and we filled up so well we can now skip dinner. Will definitely flag this place for future visits.

Found out about this place through @celiacsnacks on instagram, and I’m glad we tried it! They don’t advertise it well, but their burgers, wings, fries and tots can all be made gluten free and they have a dedicated GF fryer. I spoke with an employee about my celiac and he walked me through their process to keep me safe and avoid cross contamination, as well as walked to the kitchen to ensure everything was as requested, which I greatly appreciate. The GF buns were delicious and the fries and tots were perfectly crispy. I’ll be back!

I had SUCH a great experience at South Side Kitchen and Pub. They have a dedicated fryer if you need your wings/ fries / tots gluten free. I got two flavors of dry rub wings (lemon pepper and Louisiana dry rub) with a side of fries and ranch. The table also split their Shredder appetizer (tots topped with Italian Beef, Queso, Hot Giardiniera Peppers). I indicated that I had celiac disease and they delivered no problem! Everyone needs to try this place if you have a gluten sensitivity/ allergy in the Nashville area!
