Food was pretty good, and we were happy to know the kitchen was gluten-free (the reason we picked this restaurant), but we went in without realizing that it was also vegan, which put a real damper on ordering for most of our group. Would have been much better for us if it were vegetarian (real eggs, real cheese) rather than trying to navigate around the vegan-substitute cheese, etc. They offered a very tasty GF bread. Service was friendly but really slow so beware going in if you have anywhere to be afterward.

I’m a little frustrated that this gluten-free establishment is now vegan. Some of their most fun foods are off the menu. It’s their choice, but less exciting for this celiac.

Was a good local stop for celiacs but now they're dedicated Vegan as well. I already have enough dietary restrictions.

Delicious food, good variety and celiac safe. Vegan friendly too but also meat and dairy options. I grateful for a totally gf spot that my non-gf friends enjoy too!

Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Eugene. I love that they always have different things everyday. And everything’s always delicious. There fries are amazing too. I just wish some of the staff was alittle nicer. But this place is still amazing

Everything I've eaten here has exceeded my expectations, and my non GF husband actually suggests we go here much more than I do! It's clear across town from us, but so worth the trip.

I was in gluten free/dairy free heaven. We were traveling and went through Eugene 3 times and ate at Sundial Cafe all three times. I haven't had fish n chips in years and theirs was to live for! Next time vegan biscuits and mushroom gravy. OMG SO good too. Third time we had a veggie stir fry with quinoa. All three meals were exceptionally tasty. We highly recommend this place and two of the three were not even gluten free.

This place is AWESOME!! Everything is gluten free and lots of things are also dairy free or can be made using vegan cheese that doesn’t have soy in it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu includes things that aren’t usually found on gf menus, like vegan macaroni and “cheese”, tortilla soup and chicken tenders. They also have a variety of vegetarian options. As if that’s not enough, the vegan blueberry muffin was worth the trip...,it even had crumbles on top!!

Ate there yesterday for the first, but definitely not the last time. Service was great, food was great, and the experience of being able to walk into a restaurant and sit down and order absolutely anything I wanted off the menu for the first time in years was HEAVEN!

I was only in Eugene for one night, but managed to eat four meals from Sundial. This place is a celiac’s dream restaurant and I had to indulge while I had the opportunity. I had fish and chips for lunch on the first day. It was so satisfying after having watched my entire family eat gluten-full fish and chips while staying on the coast in Bandon. I had a bite of my husband’s chicken and waffles- also fantastic. The other meals I had were: the breakfast sandwich, the eggs benedict, and the chicken salad sandwich. Luckily I took the sandwiches to-go and had food to eat while I was stuck for half a day at the airport with a delayed flight home to Texas. I just wish I had a restaurant like this one close to where I live! What a gem!

What a treat to eat anything on the menu with no concern about contamination! I loved my sweet potato enchiladas, but they also had classic American food and fried options.

A dedicated gluten free facility / I got the chips and guacamole (holy moly so good they even gave me more to go!) and a burger and Parmesan fries. Best gluten free bun ever - the waitress said it was from Canada. So good I wish I could go back all the time!!!

This was our second visit. The first time I had the fish and chips. The fish was excellent but the chips a bit soggy. I think this is due to the fish being placed on top of the chips. My husband had the fish and chips on this visit and, again, great fish but soggy chips. I had the sweet potato enchilada and it was great! This little cafe was clean and gave great service. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is celiac or dairy free.

I had the chicken and waffles and my husband had fish and chips. Both were excellent. Fish and chicken had a crunchy, savory crust. Will definitely return. First time since Celiac diagnosis that I have had such delicious fried food!

Excellent. They don't have gluten free places where I'm from, so we were just in heaven. The chicken and waffles were amazing - crunch, bite, lovely texture all around. The quiche was so delicious and the crust tasted like actual pie crust. Great staff, busy, but nice turn over so we didn't have to wait this past Sunday.

Wonderful to eat in a place you don't have to worry about! Only thing I will mention is the home made bread tastes like the gf bread of 10 years ago . My husband and I both left it on our plates. Other then that it was a great experience.
