Amazing sushi with some incredible Texas twists offered on various rolls—traditional sushi also served. Matt, owner and operator, was awesome at making sure my food worked out for me. The “bread eaters” in my party loved Sushi Dojo as well!!

Love this place! They also had packets of gluten free soy sauce for me and my son. It's a rare place that has gluten free, dairy free options for dessert, but sushi dojo has Joy macarons ice cream sandwiches (strawberry coconut is dairy free).

Sushi Dojo is just straight up phenomenal!! They have a GF menu and are very aware/careful about cross-contamination. I am extremely sensitive to cross-contamination and didn't get sick at all. Saw all of the positive reviews and finally tried them out. Perfection!

I just popped in one day and ordered at the counter. The person taking my order was very helpful and courteous. When I mentioned Celiac Disease, she immediately pointed to their gluten free menu that is sitting in the middle of the counter. It’s clear, concise, and has descriptions and even includes great pictures of some of the options. So nice to see that. I often see GF menus that aren’t shown any love at all, which makes me feel a lot less excited about trying the food at those restaurants. Once I made my choices, she said she would mark on the order that cross contamination should be avoided. I also mentioned I couldn’t have shellfish and she said they could modify and option to exclude shellfish. She suggested swapping shellfish out for their salmon or tuna.

She also offered to include some of their gluten free soy sauce to go and encouraged me to check out their assortment of GF ice cream sandwiches (dessert too?!?!, yay!).

Once my order was ready, she read off the order, including the gluten free comments and verified it was all there. Got home, tried the food, all awesome! Had the Skinny Samari (no shellfish), One Inch Punch, and Spicy Salmon Roll Going back this weekend to try more items.

I ordered to-go from this restaurant today and I am thrilled with my overall experience and the food! I ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon, Cali roll, and veggie roll. They notated the order with instructions to avoid cross contamination. The items are marked in their system as gluten free already. They have a totally separate dedicated prep area for these orders, and have a strong understanding of cross contamination. Excellent service and the food was good! I am very sensitive to cross contamination and I did not have a reaction.

I was sooooo happy to find sushi dojo. I have done the gluten free sushi making class with friends and it was so much fun! I had not eaten sushi in over 11 years and now I’m here all the time. They have a dedicated gluten free space and are very careful not to contaminate. I have met many people who are Celiac when dining here and love to chat about it. in fact I found other places to try after meeting other customers. All the employees are so nice and make you feel welcome and they remember you and your order. My only recommendation would be to make the restaurant larger cause it’s always so busy! My favorites are the spicy tuna and the one inch punch.

This place is wonderful. It has been so long since I had sushi and it was great! Staff is very knowledgeable. Separate prep area and separate menu for GF items. GF Wasabi -what!?!,- GF soy sauce and even GF imitation crab. The Master shredder burrito is AMAZING! I drove 30 min to get here and it was totally worth it. They make the GF food on a separate line, they were super knowledgeable about their ingredients and suppliers too. The sushi was so good and my celiac daughter loved the macaroon ice cream sandwich for desert.
