I am very sensitive and informed server of my “GF Allergy” (I find using “allergy” gets better results), and she checked with chef to be sure of safe options. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with a GF bun, and a Mixed Baby Greens side salad with Honey Mustard dressing on the side (server checked, and only Caesar dressing was unsafe). It was all delicious! I ate every bite, though I began by trying to be mindful to eat only half- ha! We were too full to even consider dessert, so I never inquired on GF options. I did not get sick, and am VERY sensitive to even cross-contact. They also had a separate paper Kid’s Menu, with activities for various ages and a set of crayons.

Mixed feelings about this place. I’m pescatarian and Celiac. Called ahead to ask if vegetarian patty was gluten free and was told yes. But when we talked to waitress, she said no, definitely not. Fries are fried separately (so technically gluten free) but next to calamari so practically, cross contamination risk is higher.
They were able to make a fish sandwich when I asked by putting the salmon on a bun and with a side salad. But the salad was dry because I guess most of the dressings have gluten as well. Finally found one oil option with garlic I believe that was pretty good.
We were going to the restaurant with a group (as I realize a burger place probably shouldn’t be my first choice if I don’t eat burgers : ) and most others enjoyed their food but proceed with caution if you’re not looking for just a burger and dry salad. Limited alternatives.

Wonderful burger. Fries aren’t gluten free but they had the manager come out and discuss my options with me and I felt very safe eating there. I had a burger and salad.

Love this place! GF items aren’t marked, and menu doesn’t say they have GF buns, but just ask because they have them. The burgers are amazing! All of their salad dressings have gluten. Fries are made in a dedicated fryer, but that fryer is next to the other fryer so there is a chance of cross contamination. I’ve eaten here twice got fries both times and didn’t get sick. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about celiac and the kitchen takes it seriously. 10 our of 10 would go back!

Servers knew what was up. Some days the friers are dedicated, sometimes not, so ask when you go in. GF bun was tasty and didn’t fall apart.
Had the capital burger — one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Molasses-brown caramelized onions with a melted slab of Gruyère on a THICK juicy patty. Heaven.

It was amazing. Food was great!! They were accommodating to my celiac and my dairy allergy. Had a gluten free bun for burgers. I went with a gluten group and they all also raved about the food.

Very accommodating in my GF order. The GF bun is not dairy free, but I have no issue with that.
Great atmosphere for a burger place, and a nicely appointed bar. They have a nice selection of custom drinks and also make spiked and virgin hand spun milkshakes.
Across the street is the convention center, and it is a short walk from the many hotels in the area!
Outside seating was available when I came here, but it was raining, so we ate inside.
If you want a nice upscale place for lunch or dinner, check it out!

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and when there was a question, the chef was helpful. There was NOT a GF menu and the fyer is not dedicated. So it was a huge disappointment when our 13 y/o celiac couldn't get French fries for a side (it had to be a salad).

Service was superb! Waiter let me know that they had gluten free buns and that they take extra precautions with allergies. Burger was delicious and the milkshake was also amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving burgers and shakes.

WOW! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I have multiple food allergies. The server noted them down, smiled and said, “No problem.” (What an amazing feeling!) The food itself was tasty. I was able to get fries because they had a dedicated fryer. I also got a burger with a gluten-free bun and splurged with a milkshake. Will definitely return!

Service was great, I got a grilled cheese on a gluten free bun which was delicious. They were knowledgeable about Celiac, and warned me that the fries had their own fryer, but it was directly next to a fryer that fries other things. I took the risk and I don’t think I had any gluten symptoms, but my symptoms are hit or miss. Fries and aioli were delicious, as was my grilled cheese. Would recommend! They’re great at accommodating for gluten free.

The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac disease. Only thing is fries aren’t celiac safe and the waitress clearly expressed that. I definitely recommend!
Yes
Server did a ton of checking for us to ensure no gluten. No dedicated fryer but the burgers were awesome. Gotta watch the sauce on the broccoli, has soy.
Yes
Delicious Capital Burger! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly
They have a “dedicated fryer” but the manager was very informative and up front that anything in those oils may still have cross contamination. Their shakes are also not cross contamination free. However if you inform you have Celiac disease, they can accommodate your food being made separately. The bun was surprisingly moist and the burger was AMAZING!
Yes
The staff was very accommodating and they provide gluten free hamburger buns, which tasted great. Some risk of cross contamination, but they are knowledgeable about what items are a risk.
NOT a dedicated fryer (unlike prior comments suggest). Otherwise a great experience, the manager and bar staff knew exactly what to do for gluten free and celiac. Be a bit wary about the salad dressings.
Very tasty burgers. Offer GF bun and the fries are cooked in "beef tallow" aka animal fat so they are GF as well. Kitchen cross-contamination worries me though as I felt slightly sick the rest of the day.
No
I was told they have dedicated fryer for their fries
Knowledgeable staff. I had the cheeseburger and it was amazing!! GF bun was amazing and appeared to be house-made. Zero issues with cross-contamination. I had the side house salad as there is no dedicated GF fryer.
Yes
Beautiful space. Nice staff and right by the convention center. Have gluten free buns. No dedicated flryer but manager was knowledgeable of gluten allergy issues.
