This was a favorite place to eat before I was diagnosed with Celiac, and it continues to be a favorite. They recently introduced a new menu with all the options for gluten free marked with a symbol. Shortly after ordering, the manager came over to chat about our food. They reportedly have a separate prep area for gluten free meals, and it was served separately. The Sausage Abruzzi with GF penne was amazing! I can't wait to try their GF Chicken Parmesan (with GF breading) next time.

Unless I go to a steakhouse with a good reputation, I’m usually stuck eating salads in many restaurants to try to stay safe. I’ve eaten here three times in the past nine months and have felt safe and like attention was given to my food’s preparation each time. It’s nice to have so many options on at a restaurant and staff that understand what my needs are. I have been served by a manager each time who reassured me that special care would be taken with my food. The last time I ate here, I ordered the wings as an appetizer and the Haddock St. Germaine as my main course with butternut squash and broccoli. The wings were tasty and juicy, but the haddock was out of this world good and paired wonderfully with the squash and broccoli. I normally would have had a white wine to go with food like this, but couldn’t resist the Redbridge beer since I never see this offered at restaurants. I’m an out of towner, but have family who live locally and will be back each time I visit just to have this meal. It’s THAT good.

Our waitress informed me that they did not have gluten free rolls...my meal was served with the everyone's meal and I questioned why? I then asked for the manager. She informed me that she was told it was not an allergy..no apology....I have always been served by a manager. Not sure I will go back!

Each of my last 5 visits had a problem from sauces forgotten or burned away to over done. The last straw was getting badly glutened with the chicken parmesan. Seems like they have lost their attention to quality and allergy protocols in the kitchen over the past year.
No
ordered gf chicken parm and got a microwaved chicken breast in a puddle of watery sauce.
While everyone's opinion of the food will vary, I'm giving 5 stars based on the gf menu and staff's attention to detail. I have both a gluten and dairy allergy. The staff checked everything. In fact, I ordered the marinara sauce because I checked the jar of sauce they sell in the lobby and it was dairy free. The manager informed me that the one from the kitchen was different and used to contain onions sauteed in butter, but since someone else asked for it to be diary free like the jarred sauce they recently changed the recipe. They definitely take cross contamination seriously. They double checked the rolls to make sure they were truly dairy free and they heated them wrapped in foil to avoid gluten contamination. It was nice to have so many choices and feel safe that I was getting something that wouldn't make me sick.

Very attentive to gf needs. Relaxed sit down restaurant.

The decorations of the Chateau are wonderful. The restaurant boasts a large gf menu including appetizers, salads, and desserts. Today I opted for the chicken parm with pasta. The plate was a large portion and the sauce was chunky with a slight hint of garlic. I would have liked to have seen a bit more basil flavor and overall seasoning. The sauce was on the liquid side and could have benefitted from being thicker. The chicken was bland and could have used some seasonings. The pasta was slightly overcooked but gf pasta can be difficult if you do not cook it a lot. Overall, mediocre main course lacking flavor/seasoning. For dessert I opted to try the gf brownie. I was told the brownie was a new addition to the menu. The brownie was served hot with ice cream, whip cream, and chocolate syrup. This is a must have - decadent and delicious. So, in review - chicken parm is average and dessert is outstanding.

Good variety. Manager came over to check with us and reassure us that there would be no cross contamination. Gf pizza was mediocre.
THE most extensive GF menu I've ever seen! Great attention to GF needs!
very good pepperoni pizza
Didn’t get sick. The waiter checked with the kitchen on several items we asked about. They had gluten free rolls wrapped in tin foil.

I have a Casein allergy and my pasta had cheese on it. This was takeout and the manager argued with Me and hung up the phone. I ordered with Special instructions but he said no instructions were with the order. He offered for me to go there and pick up another order. The only way to get cheese on this pasta is to request it. I’m perplexed.

I did an Uber eats order for the first time for this restaurant. It’s very close to where I live. There was some mixup but the restaurant called me about eight minutes after I placed the order to confirm that I had the gluten allergy that I had put on the salad I was ordering. When I got the food, I was confused, but I looked up the item and saw it was exactly what I ordered.. the salad and the beef pasta peas was very good tasty zero issues

Update: went today for lunch. All I got is a salad with chicken and within an hour got very sick. Not sure if it was gluten or dairy or cross contact but I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Most of the time this location is great with allergies. They have a good selection for meals and the staff is friendly. There’s always a manager who checks in and makes sure everything is ok.
DO NOT get the steak tips! Like the other review I got glutened from eating the steak tip dinner. Must be in the marinade. First and only time getting sick here.
