I was very impressed. From the GF crackers to the GF menu. My mom has other allergies on top of being gf and the waitress was very accommodating. The food was delicious. I had the Rooster with BBQ sauce. It was so nice to have fries. Yum. Will be back.

Large, seperate, gluten free menu. Portions are huge. Food was pretty decent. As others have stated, service is a little slow

We got takeout here three times (for multiple meals) on vacation. Really couldn’t find any other place we trusted for GF food in the area. The food was delicious. Reheated well. The staff was outstanding. Made sure everything was safe. Lunch and dinner GF menu and staff double checked some items to make sure for me.

This restaurant is HUGE. Two floors, each the size of a regular restaurant. Two bars. Two sets of staff.
Has a help-yourself cheese bar, and they usually have GF crackers (but not on the day I was there.)
It has a extensive, separate GF menu. I had a GF chicken tzaziki sandwich with chips. The sandwich was tasty, and larger than I was able to finish. I wasn't fond of the chips so I only ate a few of them. They had a spice on them that I couldn't name and didn't relish.
The service was not speedy.
The straws are PAPER STRAWS which often contain gluten, so I did not use the straw.
The restaurant offers GF desserts. I did not indulge. The atmosphere is cheerful. Not terribly loud.

On Wednesday, 11 July, I was glutened by this establishment.
I had eaten food from here a few times when I first moved (takeout burgers) and never got sick. However the first time I went and sat down to eat... It was a disaster. I clearly ordered gf food and stated that it was due to an allergy, NOT a preference. The server brought gf crackers—they have a whole cheese and crackers thing. I ordered a gf burger and fries (my normal) and I also ordered the gf brownie sundae, as I had been wanting to try it. I requested that the sundae be brought with my meal as my mom and I were pressed for time. An individual who was NOT my server brought out the food: my burger, my sundae, and my mom's chicken ceaser with croutons. I started eating my burger and fries. The person who brought the food (again, NOT my server) came out with another sundae and apologized, stating that he had accidentally brought out a NON-gf sundae. Well people make mistakes, whatever! I hadn't started eating the sundae yet, so phew, good catch! However that made me question the rest of my meal. I had taken a couple bites of burger, and when my server came back I asked her if she was sure it was a gf bun. She replied, "nope that does not look like it!" My server then got Scott, the man who brought out my food and corrected the sundae, and he came over. He is apparently the manager of this establishment. He said that the server did not put my gf food in the system—which I find ridiculous, because otherwise how did he know the sundae was supposed to be gf? He comped the meal, which honestly there was no question that that should have been done—why the f would I pay for food that was going to make me incredibly sick?? They did offer to remake it. I had to explain that I was going to be extremely ill, however it is not immediate, and I did not want anymore food that they had to offer. They did not really seem very concerned, even though I was very adamant that I was going to be extremely sick. I feel like they did not care because I did not get sick in front of them. If I had an anaphylactic response in front of them, it would have been a HUGE deal. But because I had to wait to see the horrific symptoms, they kind of brushed it off.
I would say eat here at your own risk. I think I had success with the takeout food because the hostess is the one who took my order over the phone. But I am mainly disgusted at their lack of empathy or sympathy about this issue. I did not feel that I could even speak to the manager about this because HE was the one who brought the food and HE was the one who blamed the server. So HE would not have been held accountable to anyone! So frustrated. Disgusting that they don't care about Celiac Disease or its repercussions.

The service was awesome. The staff listened carefully to my requests for gluten free food as my kids have celiac disease. They brought us gluten free menus without batting an eye. I was surprised at how many items were included on the gluten free menu! I learned that they have a dedicated fryer and a dedicated food station for preparing gluten free items.

Menu had a lot of gf options. I got the pesto haddock which was really good (as I write this review I’m realizing they never brought my veggies 🤔). My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich with French fries. Appreciated the gf fryer to make safe french fries. My experience would have been even better had they had gf bread or crackers. It’s hard being really hungry and watching everyone eat a bunch of bread and crackers with cheese.

Very aware of gluten free and very good selection!

Just had a wonderful, safe lunch there with two family members who have Celiac disease. Separate GF menu, delicious options, food came out on a plate tagged for allergies. We didn't get dessert, but the GF brownie sundae sounded amazing. Highly recommend!

Large gf menu - Had salmon and mashed potatoes-excellent!
Concord Common Man. Great atmosphere. Very nice, plentiful GF menu including baked onion soup, flatbread, pot roast and several seafood selections. The most delicious brownie sundae too. Impressed. Very busy Friday evening so kitchen was slower than usual but service was very good.

This review is for the rest stop locations. They don't clean the grill so if you order anything cooked then it's cooked on the same surface as the pancakes and gluten bread etc. all they had was a gluten free bun but nothing to put in it except boars head deli meats. Not great for a celiac toddler.
Amazing gluten free menu, great service, awesome food and atmosphere. Waiter was very helpful and knowledgable.

Just so grateful a rest area has gluten free burgers! Odd they don't list it on the menu but I asked and they do:)
The Common Man restaurants are always accommodating for gluten free options. At the new welcome center they added a diner and general store. I had a turkey sandwich on a gluten free roll. It was a great option on the road. They don't have a separate gluten free menu or they probably would have received 5 stars
There was a separate Gluten Friendly menu with a lot to choose from. They even have dessert!!! Not just a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but brownie sundae with ice cream and crème brûlée!! Our waitress Chloe was amazing! She was very knowledgeable of all the offering, she even brought my daughter GF crackers so she could still enjoy their cheese station. My daughter had no digestive issues after eating here. Can’t wait to go back.

The service was great. The food was a bit expensive and average. We went for lunch and I had gf street corn bowl with chicken. No issues with gluten but chicken was dry and food was bland. My wife, non gf, had pork Sammy, also dry and fatty.
