The Cracked Egg

I had gluten free pancakes and they were pretty good! Not the best I’ve had but better than nothing! The wait staff knew gluten free options and were friendly and patient with my questions. My only problem was that I had to look up a “gluten sensitive” menu online, none of the gluten free options were listed on the actual menu.

Food is only OK and the staff is not informed on GF food. Go elsewhere.

mixed on this one. DH loved it. his burger looked divine. he eats gluten. DDs ordered chocolate chip pancakes and we asked for them gf. they looked lovely, nice and fluffy. looks like they might use Pamelas pancake mix. i recognized those brown flecks. (since they dont mention, ask what they use if you are allergic to nuts bc Pamelas has nuts). I ordered the Kicken Potatoes, with a side of eggs to put on top. pretty tasty, tho left under the broiler a bit too long.

my biggest reason for a 3 star is that our waitress didn't know what gluten is....I suggest you ask for a wait person who is familiar with glutenfree. Also some stuff is canned or frozen. we asked if the chicken tenders could be made glutenfree and she came back and said they are pre-packed frozen, so no.

So it's mixed. it's pretty good, more pluses than minuses, but the minuses are significant. for instance, they warn you that they have gf bread, but it will be toasted in a shared toaster. so I had to take all bread out of my consideration because I'm sensitive. the frustrating thing is, go buy a new toaster for $30 and label it GLUTENFREE Bread only! Then they can sell more and ensure more safety for their guests.

Such a small place, make reservations! food is ok.

Came here due to the positive reviews, but looks like they are no longer accurate. They do have a gf menu, but are not careful about cross contamination at this time. They put gf bread in a shared toaster, and I was told the hash browns and eggs are cooked on a surface with gluten things. I ate a grilled chicken sandwich with gf untoasted bread, but had symptoms later. I wouldn't suggest this place for those who can't handle cross contamination. Honestly, I didn't find the food all that great, and neither did my gluten eating family.

I tested my meal on my Nima sensor and came back no gluten found. This is the only time I have tested their food but have gotten breakfast from there many times and always feel ok. I got an omelet with veggies cheese and gluten free toast. I asked them to not toast the bread in the same toaster as the other bread and she said they could put it safely in the oven. However I do get nervous because they do not have a dedicated kitchen at all. So I would just be careful and be specific when ordering.

I used to go there often but, when I received my diagnosis I decided not anymore. They do not have a dedicated area for preparing gluten free foods. They don’t even have a separate toaster for us. Cross contamination can cause me to have a seizure. It’s not worth it to me.

A superb restaurant for breakfast. There are so many varieties of items to select from all with different features to them. Many many of the items are gluten free.

But I especially liked the fact that they offer gluten free toast!! They are very conscious about their preparation of all items needed to be gluten free and I was very happy with my meal and my options.

Became a "rewards" member right away as I'll definitely be back.
