I had the Buddha bowl and it was amazing. The ingredients were so fresh. One family member had the country club, and two other family members shared a GF pizza. All delicious!

Fantastic! We made an online reservation for Sun brunch. We sat outside where they had heaters, comfy seats. The food was great - I had the crab omelette which was full of lump crabmeat and delicious. Dedicated gf fryer, knowledgeable staff, friendly place and it was fun watching passersby. I’d absolutely go back. Good , fresh, quality food. Not pretentious or bougie. 😄

I’ve had celiac for a while and it’s always been difficult finding restaurants that meets my needs but this restaurant hit the nail on the head. I am a big pizza fan and I ordered a pizza there and it was absolutely delicious. I had no reaction whatsoever. I recommend this restaurant to other gluten-free people.

I went here for breakfast and it was the best breakfast i have had in a while. I have celiac I don’t normally like eggs but I had the breakfast burrito in a bowl and it was the most delicious thing ever. All of the flavors were amazing and I couldn’t even taste the eggs, which I loved. The waiter was very nice and was very accommodating. And an extra bonus the home fries were gf and delicious!

I placed a delivery order for a work lunch through Chop Chop RVA. Chop Chop and The Daily went above and beyond to ensure my food order was GF and celiac safe, taking care to bag my order separately from my coworkers’ non GF orders, and mark my bag as GF.

I ordered the Quinoa Salad. It was delicious, however, it did not entirely agree with me. I'm not sure if I felt bad due to gluten or something else in the salad just not agreeing with me. I ordered online and the service was good. Cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. The salad I had was super fresh and presented very nicely in the takeout container.

I love their food! I always feel well after eating there (pizza is the only item I haven't tried). Everything that I've had is very fresh and tasty. I've eaten here many times and the staff is very knowledgeable and makes me feel comfortable that they work hard to prevent cross contamination. My experience was 5 stars to start the service when I immediately walked through the door. I made a mistake and reserved for Sunday instead of Saturday. The hostess made it work for us (being from out town) she seated us without much wait.

The food is the topper I have been a Vegan for over a year and the food was superb. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and patient with my questions on the Gluten Free and Vegan options. I chose the Vegan Calamari as our started and within seconds my daughter (8) had dived into it as if it was real calamari 😁. For my main dish I went with just a piece of Avocado toast but my God it was like a party of flavors happening in my mouth 😂😂. My husband and daughter had the breakfast burrito and two egg style respectively they loved it. Thank you Penelope and Isabella

Amazing experience! I love that most the menu is GF and lists those with gfo (gluten free options). I loved that. The menu is clearly marked with both gf and dairy free options (teese and daiya cheese). The server was knowledgeable of the ingredients and cross contact. He made me feel very much at ease with ordering my meal. They had a few ciders on tap, no gf beers though. All in all a great experience and look forward to visiting again.

Can't say enough bad things. 1) We sit down and it takes 5 minutes for water and someone to say that someone will wait on us. 2) 15 minutes later waitress shows up. No apology, nothing. We order 3 gf sandwiches and two gf appretizers. 30 minutes later appetizers show up. I happened to ask if they used gf bread...they then say "no." The second item, despite being listed on the menu as GF shows up with pita...regular pita. They actually thought we'd wait another 40 minutes and trust that this would be fixed. We just walked out and trust me that is not something we do. I should mention the following 1) There were plenty of people to wait on tables 2) hardly any customers and 3) I truly think 1 guy in the kitchen based on the pace. It was restaurant week. I can't imagine how much worse it would have been if it was actually crowded. Perhaps the people who skipped this place were in the know. 1 star is what I had to put just to review. No stars is my real opinion.

I have eaten at The Daily for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Every meal I have had has been fabulous. Their menus are creative and extensive enough that everyone is able to find something they like. For brunch, I have always ordered their GF French toast with a side of hash browns. It is the best breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant. The bread is made from a local bakery and is soft and moist. The Daily makes their own honey butter which adds a touch of sweetness with the silkiness of the butter. The hash browns are seasoned to perfection with a hint of crispiness. I can't say anything bad about The Daily because everything I have had has been so tasty. My favorite thing about eating here... their menu clearly identifies items as being GF or having the option of being made GF. Such a variety for those of us with celiacs!

I'm not sure what happened, but I felt horrible after eating here and so did my husband who has no gluten issues at all. My digestive distress was not my typical gluten reaction, but we were very uncomfortable for a good 24+ hours after we ate here.

The espresso was great. Our waitress was super nice and helpful about some things we were looking for in the area.

I had the power breakfast and my eggs were slimy. Well cooked though, so whatever they cooked the eggs in left a film on them. The buckwheat pancakes were dry and the flavor was not great. My husband had the breakfast burrito and he said his eggs were mealy.

We had to wait 30 minutes for a table because it was bustling. I had higher expectations for this place and wound up wishing we had chosen somewhere else to eat. Will not return.
