The server’s knowledge of menu ingredients was fantastic. The food and dessert were delicious and prepared perfectly, according to our requests. They have GF Tamari and the homemade wasabi is GF as well.
There was no judgement or pushback about our dietary needs, and additional options were offered, to accommodate us. No reactions were noted after the meal.
There are no reservations at the restaurant, and the seating list begins at 4pm, while the seating does not start until 5pm, so be advised that you may have to wait for a little while. But it is definitely worth the wait.

Asked if the seafood chowder had gluten and the young man working there was less than helpful and basically sneered me out of there. That’s all I know. I didn’t ask if there was soy sauce on the poke but I assume so.
Had sushi here and it was great! The server understood celiac, and knew that the California roll (real crab) needed to be modified to remove the tobiko without me even asking. She also brought gf tamari. Restaurant is open late, which is rare on the north shore. There is also a fish market with takeout next door. On the pricier side, but good food and I felt safe.
