I work here so I will keep the rating impartial, just want people to know what to expect. Let the register person know if you have celiac or an allergy and we will do what we can to ensure you stay safe. The flat top and fryers are safe but if you are very sensitive to cross-contamination I would be careful with the buns, the kitchen staff is not always diligent with keeping separate areas for the gf and regular bread. Nothing that goes in the fryer has gluten, it is all completely safe. The gf “wrap” will be served more like a quesadilla pressed and sliced, they are too delicate to actually make into a wrap. I try to keep the pastry case segregated, but not everyone behind the counter is good about using separate tongs for gf items. But do not be afraid to ask!! The best gf things are the bowls (100% safe from cross contamination if gloves are changed) and the brownies are really good. I care too much about this place so I hope this helps some of you!

Their menu is labeled gluten sensitive. I asked the staff person and she said that they cannot label their items as “gluten free” because there is gluten present in some of the items in the kitchen. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I told her specifically that I have Celiac disease and what her advice would be. She said that she would inform the cook and they would take extra precautions. I ordered an avocado BLT on GF bread and sweet potato fries. She said they do have a dedicated fryer. The food was good and I did not get sick. Would visit again.
NOT safe. Menu specifically warns against eating there if Celiac or allergic.
No
I didn't eat there because it says on the menu that they do not recommend that people with celiac disease east from their kitchen. 😩

Love the green sage. Be sure they know you have Celiac!
Yes
Great food and staff was informed. Our 2 kids with celiac disease are here twice with us and did not have a problem. We loved it!!

Delicious GS sweet potato homemade chips and breakfast burrito. Comes out w a little flag that says gluten sensitive. I like this one just as much as downtown.
they tell you on the menu to"eat at your on risk" which is different from other reviews first item we order, told they were out of turkey so please change our choice. food was just regular, a real disappointment. hope you visit is better and you don't get ill.1

Amazing! First thing I asked was what they meant by gluten sensitive on their menu. He asked if I was intolerant or celiac, and I told him celiac. He explain they have an entire separate area and oven/cooking area for all the GF food and all plates that need to be GF. I got a Sage plate with a side of bacon and it was all amazing. He verifies it was GF when it was brought to me and the GF biscuit was the best I've ever had!
The restaurant has great tasting GF food, but Be careful of Double Chocolate Chip GF cookies. My wife got sick about 15 minutes after eating it. Usually she knows almost immediately after eating wheat or gluten. Also, the GF French toast made her stomach upset. No problems with GF pancakes and her favorite blueberry cheesecake bar.

Omelet is amazing!!! Sweet potato home fries and grits!! Delicious! Would highly recommend.

The GF french toast wasn't available. So, I had the GF blueberry pancake. Delicious! My non-GF family also liked their burger, rice bowl, and burrito. I also liked that the items in the bakery case were plastic-wrapped to minimize cross-contamination. The staff was patient, understanding, & had a good sense of humor when fielding my seemingly endless list of questions.
GF French toast was great! So was the GF biscuit! The mushroom gravy was so salty it ruined everything it touched. & the kid who took my order gave me the" we can't guarantee you'll be safe eating here, as wheat is in the air" speech. Besides that, really good!
Delicious, great service, great menu, fresh bakery case items are great - my new favorite!!
Much nicer than the downtown location. One of the few places open before 8am.
Had GF French toast...and not just basic udi's, was a Texas toast style and quite good! A ton of GF baked goods as well. Will definitely come back.
My husband and I loved the food. I liked how they asked if I was a Celiac or just Gluten Free intolerant:-) GF Pancakes tasted good as well as the spinach feta omelet and portion size is big. Would definitely come back again!!!!
Great service, food, and atmosphere. Had to eat here twice during my short stay in Asheville. Plenty of GF options on the menu along with bakery goods. Only down fall was I thought I would be able to pick up a GF bagel, they didn't have any.
Staff is GF knowledgeable and very friendly. My husband who is not Gluten Free and I had GF pancakes, eggs and coffee. This is the best GF breakfast i ever encountered. Awesome. Hubby and I loved it....
