The best service I have ever had with my celiacs. The manager came out to ensure me gloves would be changed and new utensils would be used to make my food to prevent cross contamination. They were extremely knowledgeable!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and it did not disappoint!! Seperate gluten free menu, multiple appetizers, delicious entree and even strawberry sorbet for dessert! The chef came out to talk to me and said they clean the area and have a seperate space to prepare for celiac. the waiter was awesome and very knowledgeable about gluten! I felt so comfortable here and had no issues at all, which is so rare for me as I’m extremely sensitive to cross contamination

Good food and didn’t get sick! We got lobster cargot with gf flatbread, candied bacon, and a truffle grilled cheese with tomato soup! Super cool to have a grilled cheese without fear. Manager came out and told me about their allergen procedure. All I had to say was “celiac” and the server knew what to do. Just be sure to ask for a gf menu when you walk in-it’s not marked on the menu, but there are a lot of options.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! I told them I had celiac disease, and they knew what that meant. They didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or like an inconvenience at all! I was given a gluten free menu, the manager came out to discuss how my food would be prepared (I got a fillet, mashed potatoes, and broccolini), the kitchen staff changed gloves and pans, and the head chef brought my meal out personally. It was delicious!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. The experience and service was not the best, but since this app is to review the GF options, I’m giving it a way better review than I would if it were an overall rating. There was a specific gluten free menu which was pretty extensive. We had the candied bacon (yummy) as an appetizer and I had the lobster roll (so-so) and horseradish mashed potatoes (yummy). If we ever go back there, I want to try the ribs, they sounded great but I was afraid they’d be messy and I didn’t want my white dress to get sauce on it ;)

They have a full menu that is all GF. Manager came out and confirmed my selections and that he and the kitchen were aware my order was GF and asked if there were any other allergies. Service is fantastic and food is delicious!

Great experience at HC Tavern! Double sided gluten free menu. Appetizer bread and butter was great, and there were great entree options to choose from. The manger came out before ordering to confirm my meal choices and discuss how it would be prepared, and delivered each course of my meal to make sure all was correct. Will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten here multiple times and every experience has been great. Separate GF menu (2 pages), staff has been knowledgeable about cross contamination, and manager comes out each time to confirm allergies and reassure order is 100% GF. Most recently I got the burger on the GF bun and fries (manager confirmed dedicated fryer) and it was incredible. One of the only places where I don’t feel like I’m missing out. 10/10 recommend

I had the fennel sausage flatbread. It was great! After talking to the server and ordering it then the manager came out to confirm it will be GF. I had no reaction at all and I’m pretty sensitive. If I go back I may try the burger on a GF bun.

I had the fish tacos- made with corn tortillas! Delicious! I wanted to order Pita bread as an appetizer… It’s not listed on the menu but they make excellent gluten-free pita bread!
