We visited Old Spaghetti factory while on a trip to San Jose. Our overall experience was very good. They have a separate gluten friendly menu. You get a choice of about 4-5 different sauces to put over GF noodles. Not a HUGE variety, but still finding GF pasta is always a win in my book!! I have to avoid red sauce due to GERD so my only choice was the Mizithra and Brown butter sauce for my pasta. It was good but a little bland. I did request some lemon slices and used that to help pep it up a little bit. It also came with a side salad. They have 2 GF salad dressings - balsamic vinaigrette or a creamy pesto dressing. I went with the creamy pesto. Once again, the salad was good but not great. The portion sizes are generous. The prices are reasonable. Dinner for 2 (2 pasta dishes with 2 side salads, no drinks or desserts) was $45. Overall, we had good service and good food at a reasonable price.

Staff were knowledgeable. They informed me that their restaurant is not a gluten free facility but they will do their best to eliminate as much cross contamination by making the food in a separate pan. The salad, Alfredo pasta, chicken, and ice cream were yummy. I did not get sick either so that was a plus. Would probably go back here at some point if I was in the area for pasta.
Yes
Gf menu, waiter took celiac concerns seriously, had salad and GF pasta with meat sauce & no reaction!
I've been glutenated twice there, despite having reported an allergy when ordering the gf pasta.
Went there last month and had the GF pasta. Hour later I had a horrible itch and hives on my arms and chest. Eat at your own risk.
Not my favorite place for gluten free pasta. But it's a nice option if you're downtown. I certainly won't turn it down if I'm in the area. (My fav gf pasta place is Willow Street Pizza)
Limited GF menu, but the pasta we had was good.
They say gluten friendly but said they do use separate water and utensils to try and avoid cc. I hade the Alfredo it was just ok, but no reaction.

We had a very enjoyable dinner and experience. Jasmine was knowledgeable, attentive and so kind. Salad, pasta and chicken were all gluten-free! Ask for gf menu.

The food was just ok, but the staff seemed knowledgeable, and my food did arrive with a “gluten friendly” marker.

You wouldn’t think a place called the spaghetti factory would have a gluten free menu, but they do.
Plenty of options to choose from.

Definitely not gluten free. The food comes out tagged “gluten friendly”, but it definitely contains gluten or has cross contamination.
