I had a bad experience after eating here. I explained that I was both gluten and dairy intolerant and I believe it was Maria who recommended the enchiladas and that they could make chicken and potato enchiladas with no cheese. The kitchen screwed up by giving me one w/cheese. Maria came running over apologizing before I could say anything and promptly replaced it. Great service, however I became horribly ill during the night with vomiting and diarrhea and felt horrible for the next couple of days. I realized the reason I don't normally eat enchiladas is because the sauce is made with flour. Shame on me but also shame on them for claiming something is GF when it's not. Live and learn.
Note that I have not eaten here. When we phoned to ask if they do gluten-free food, they seemed not to know what we were talking about, so I wonder if there has been a change if ownership or something?
This place is amazing!! The owner Maria has done her homework on gluten free and even had a specialist come and look at her kitchen. She treats my family with enthusiasm and my two girls (who are also gluten intolerant) love her so much thy brings flowers to her every time we go. I cannot tell you how wonderful it Is to find a restaurant to this caliber that caters to my family. I suggest starting out with her pasta Jalisco or the Mexican pizza which I can not describe but just say that it's one of a kind.
