They have a gluten “conscious” menu which you can find on their website. I also posted a screenshot. Please read disclaimer in bottom right of menu. I have eaten here twice with no issues and the GF options are delicious.

Really bummed by how little is genuinely GF. Can’t even even their chips! They used to have a separate menu with all the GF options, but that’s not longer on the store. I’m also super disappointed they switched their drinks from MainRoot to Coca Cola products. Just goes to show that nutrition is not remotely on their radar.

We love torchys, I mean who doesn't. My negative rating is to reflect the lack of care around gluten and allergies in general. In 20+ orders, they have literally never gotten it right. A typical order for us is a fresh avocado on corn (from their gluten free menu) or a Baja shrimp (grilled shrimp) on corn. Never once have I not had to go back inside the store. It's always reflected correctly on the receipt, but the kitchen just seems to see the title and ignore the large red letters on there that day gluten free,.or grilled versus fried..
I hate given a negative star rating, but no amount of pleading or explaining seems to avoid the need for us to meticulously go through the order when it's delivered and always, always have to go back inside and have them remake.
Would be absolutely awesome if they could fix their process and I would immediately fix my review (which I've now moved from 5 stars in the beginning, one star at a time to one star).
But once they get it right, (and I'm pretty hungry by that point!), The tacos are great!
Due to the hand crafted nature of our food, variations in our supplier ingredients, and our use of shared cooking and preparation areas, we cannot ensure that our food is free from any allergens. We prepare our foods following procedures to prevent allergen cross-contact, but products containing wheat are made in our kitchens.
Takes “gluten allergy” precautions
Most tacos are gluten free as long as you get a corn tortilla. Note that chips are on the “gluten conscious” menu but are NOT celiac safe because they are made in a shared fryer

The gf menu is basically if you’re eating gf as a fad and not for intolerance and certainly not Celiac. For it to be gf, most of the sauces and some elements have to be altered but those changes aren’t visible when you get it, and the staff is so rushed they often make mistakes. You can probably safely eat the chips and quest but nothing else.
No
Dedicated Gluten Free Menu, but I had to google for it instead of finding directly on website. I had tacos on corn tortilla and a side of corn.
Torchy's has amazing food and is very celiac friendly. Mention you need your order gluten free and the manager on duty will follow your food and make sure the employees change their gloves.
Yes
Many tasty GF tacos with its own GF menu. Staff are always friendly. These are made-to-order so it's not a quick in and out, but worth the extra 5-10 minutes. Only problem is sometimes our orders have been wrong, so check your bag before you leave. Also keep in mind their chips are not Celiac safe.
Yes
They have a list of gluten free ingredients (though other locations have full GF menus). I've gotten breakfast tacos with my parents a couple times and haven't had any issues.
Great tacos!
Great Austin taco place. Quality ingredients.AWESOME online ordering experience. Never been cross containmentated!
quality food - great price - visit it!
This is my go-to chain restaurant if I need to pick up fast food. The kids love the tacos, and we have yet to have any cross-contamination issues in the four years since my son’s diagnosis. Not one accidental gluten incident. Corn tortillas don’t fall apart after the first bite like most corn tortillas which is key for my son. Great option to have in our area.

Summary -
Yummy but had issues ordering from the gluten conscious menu and chips are in shared fryer.
Story -
When I asked the server about gluten they immediately brought over the manager. Manager was great! They brought me the “gluten conscious” menu, explained that the chips are fried separately but the oil from both fryers are combined (so not GF but listed on the menu). I ordered the baja shrimp taco and the brisket taco on corn tortillas, mentioning the gluten allergy/menu to the server.
When the food came out, the shrimp was breaded and fried (so not GF), so we sent back with the server to redo. Then we realized that my partner’s burrito had vegan meat instead of the beef he ordered (burritos are not GF). He mentioned to manager who happened to walk by. Manager went back to kitchen and didn’t come back out until our food was out and correct. Everything was really good, including the mexican rice and street corn sides.
We tried to pay but the manager comped our meal. Very nice!
There is a bar and specialty cocktails but we didn’t try any.

I told the server I had celiac disease, explicitly asked her to indicate that I was GF on my ticket, and she did not. She also told me the chips are cooked in the same fryer as everything else, so I did not have any. Anyway, I ordered the airstream salad with the grilled chicken and have been sick all day :(

The person behind the counter seemed a bit unsure in dealing with gluten free requests, but then she also couldn't tell me what white wine they had, so she must have been new. Be sure to look at the "gluten conscious" menu to know your options before you order. That said, the chips are made in a dedicated fryer, and the queso and GF tacos we picked were great.
