Server knew which pastas could be made gluten free. Service was quick, food was good, was a little overpriced even for this part of the city. Put regular bread on the table for my spouse (who is not celiac) without any comment so just be aware

The staff was very knowledgeable about my celiac daughters options. She was the only gluten free meal, but everyone loved their meal! The waiter checked back every time we asked them to, and was extremely polite and accommodating. It was a great experience!

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would due to the extremely terrible and wrongful service we received. We had a person that has celiacs disease (which is a autoimmune disease, which causes a person to be extremely ill if they eat gluten). This restaurant was recommended from a gluten free app and said that there was a safe option to eat.

Like always, she did not rely on the app 100% so she asked the waiter about the gluten free options, she informed him that she has celiac disease and must eat gluten free. If there were not guaranteed to be gluten free options we knew we would move onto another restaurant that had it. Our waiter INSISTED that they had a gluten free option for the Alfredo pasta. She asked a couple of times to really ensure that it was in fact safe for her to eat. After he insisted again, she decided it would be okay to eat it.

Now this is where I have complete rage towards this man.. towards the end of our meal he jokingly asked her if the pasta was gluten free, laughing and pretending he wasn't sure if he had placed the order correct. AFTER SHE HAD EATEN HALF OF HER MEAL. For those of you who are unfamiliar, there's no way to know just by the taste of a food. This proved his ignorance and sheer lack of respect or concern for her health. This is NOT something to laugh or make jokes about as it severely effects the health of these individuals.

She got extremely ill because of this mans ignorance and lack of concern.

If you have ANY type of allergy whatsoever I would recommend NEVER stepping foot into the restaurant. I can not believe they do not train their waiters to understand dietary restrictions and that for many people it is not just a DIET! It is not just a "PREFERENCE".

We will NEVER be going to this restaurant again. We will NEVER recommend this to ANYONE.

This was my go to spot in New York for some classic, delicious fettuccine Alfredo! They have actual gf fettuccine noodles! The food was great, the cocktails were great, the cream sauce was exceptional, the only thing I could have wished for was gf table bread.

I really did my due diligence with this restaurant. I read all the reviews in the app and we went to the restaurant in the middle of the day look at the menu, talk to the manager, and make a reservation. That night, I spoke with the server and then ordered a chicken dish in a white wine reduction (no pasta at all). Within two hours of eating, I had all the telltale signs of being glutened. I am not sure of the source, and suspect cross-contamination. If I knew I would get sick, I should have eaten some of my daughters lasagna. It looked delicious. Beware.

The use gluten free pasta and sauce. I wasn't sure how preparation was done in the kitchen however waiter reassured me i would be fine. Thankfully no issues. Must keep things in separate in kitchen. Would recommend and eat their again.

Most or all dishes available GF. I had Pasta Primavera with Penne pasta. Reservations may be necessary. Food was good, as well as the service. Near Times Square.

I got the rigatoni alla trecolori substituted with gluten free penne. The server told me there were too options for gluten free pasta, penne or fettuccine, and I chose penne because it was similar to rigatoni. The server seemed knowledgeable about gluten free options which was reassuring. The sauce was already gluten free and the meal was delicious. Perfect balance of flavors. I think there may have some cross contact as I wasn't feeling well later in the evening. But the food was so good, it was almost worth it. We were running late for a play and I saw that other on here hadn't had reactions so I trusted the reviews. If I were too return I would ask more questions about how the food will be prepared to determine if I should order another dish.

The gf alfredo with chicken was fabulous. They had two kinds of noodles (penne, fettuccine), and all of their sauces were gluten free. I ate there twice in my stay because it was so good. The vodka and alfredo sauces were outstanding. The staff was accommodating and the service was great!

They have 2 different gluten free pastas and I was told all of the sauces are gluten free. I had the pasta Alfredo with Grilled chicken. The Alfredo sauce was very good. Don't have a full gluten free menu but at least they have a few options.

From the reviews I expected more options. The waiter told me there were two pasta dishes they could make gluten free, and that nothing else - including the salmon and chicken dishes that, at a glance, contained no gluten ingredients - were safe. He said nothing on the dessert menu was okay except the berries (and that I couldn't have them with whipped cream). I was pretty dismayed. But the fettuccini WAS delicious.

Kid friendly, good GF options the waiter will let you know what can be made GF. Clean large bathrooms. Business crowd for lunch but still family friendly. Fresh pasta was Delish.

We found this place using this app and it was a fantastic experience for a celiac! I had the spinach roasted beat salad and pasta putenesca. and it was all fresh and delicious, truly top notch. My husband loved the food, cozy atmosphere, friendly service and that it was cheaper than eating in Seattle.

I have to concur with the previous reviews - Trattoria Trecolori was fantastic! Comfortable atmosphere, wonderful food made GF to order, GF beer and desserts, and kid-friendly. We just happened to get a waiter by the name of MJ, and as stated below by 'eyesinger', MJ was knowledge, friendly, attentive and even scored points with our 12-year old son who said "he is the nicest New Yorker we've met this week". We will definitely be back!

Awesome food (for myself and my gluten-eating friends). While they don't have a gluten free menu, everything on the menu is made to order and can pretty much be made gf. Everyone on staff seemed knowledgable, but our waiter was especially helpful. If you can, ask to be seated with MJ. There were also several gf desserts available!
