I had a great experience at True Food Kitchen. Their menu is clearly marked. Served marked down my allergies and my food was brought out first and allergies announced, which is always reassuring. I paired some sides and shrimp together and all the food was great!

So many gluten free options here! Even dessert menu is gluten free friendly. Ordered the Seared Tuna Tataki (seasonal dish) and it was delicious. Super filling, wish I would have had room for dessert. Let your server know of your allergies, even if marked gf they will notate in your order as an extra step. Felt taken care of and that the staff understands food allergies/celiac. Recommend!

A vast majority of menu items here are gluten free or can easily be made gluten free. When I asked for my salad to come without breadcrumbs the waitress made sure to ask if it was due to preference or an allergy. All items are marked with the dietary restrictions they work for and safe preparation is taken seriously. Their cookies, tart, and chocolate cake are all gluten free. Super yummy food over all!

I’ve eaten here many times. Food is delicious, I feel very confident eating here. Servers have always been great at explaining my options, while they have a gf crust they shared a risk of cross contact in the oven and recommended other things I get instead. They seem to be great with other allergies as well, this is one of the places I took my mom (also celiac) last time she came to visit. She has an MSG allergy and they were great at making her feel safe eating there as well (and no reactions).

I order takeout pizza from here quite regularly - never been glutened. The food is based on anti-inflammatory diet principles and the whole chain is very conscious of allergies. They are a safe place to go, no matter which city I am in. There are a lot of dairy-free options, including desserts!

Ate here last week. Menu is a QR code and everything was clearly marked. Had the Lasagna Bolgnese and the watermelon salad. Outstanding and did not make me sick, I’m pretty sensitive. Had mango tart desert to go and didn’t like that as much, but overall a good experience and great service.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff! I felt like I finally found a restaurant that understands my eating restrictions, and doesn’t give me the side eye because I’m “being picky”. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Great food, extremely conscientious about food allergies & celiac, lots of veggies (many organic), very accommodating servers, nice outdoor seating. Also, their cocktails are made with freshly squeezed juices and they serve brunch!! I just adore this place.

Always great for delicious GF. Started with a GF chicken noodle soup then Enjoyed the lasagna this time. Finished with the GF KEY LIME PIE AND Flourless chocolate cake (couldn't make up my mind). AWESOME!!!

Very good real good! So many options. This time we got the steak tacos and a burger and key lime pie. Yum!

Lots of "gluten free" options. Had the steak tacos and they were fantastic. Ordered the Apple crisp dessert and before I took a bite, I found some oats in the crumble. Asked the server if they were gluten free oats. Come to find the manager told me that oats didn't have gluten in them, and brought me the package of oats that said they were processed in the same facility as wheat. I didn't eat the dessert and didn't get sick from the tacos but probably would have had a reaction to the oats. If you're celiac, make sure you double check the ingredients because the staff probably doesn't know what's safe even though it says gluten free on the menu.

Absolutely outstanding and highly recommended! They take allergies very seriously here, are very excited to make you a customized meal, the waiters are knowledgeable and the food is made from scratch with high quality ingredients. Ate here twice in three days. Loved the chia banana coconut pudding, citrus cucumber margarita, and grassfed burger. Do not be afraid to try to customize an order! I personally thanked the chef and he was so humble, simply saying that they do this kind of accommodation (I have a long list), all the time. Wish more restaurants could have that kind of attitude!

Whenever I visit the DC area on business, I always ask my colleagues to eat at True Food Kitchen. There is always something on the menu I can eat (taking in consideration my celiac disease and soy allergy). The Berry Tart is heavenly (but is only offered seasonally). This is by far one of the very best chain restaurants I have been to!

When I first looked at the menu I considered walking away. I'm so glad I didn't!!! The food was absolutely delicious and 100% safe for me to eat!!! We had 11 people in our party. All of them were worried when they started to read the menu because the items were so foreign to us. But there was not one person in our group who did not thoroughly enjoy their meal!!! And we all ordered something different!

Gluten free options safe for celiacs (but let the staff know about your celiac disease). The food could be tastier (specially the guacamole and the gluten free tortillas). Small portions for the price. The best was the excellent service and the comfortable atmosphere.
