Ordered a steamed lobster with steamed vegetables and no fries. I told the waiter I had a gluten allergy and my food couldn’t touch any bread. The meal came with a roll, and I said please do not give me a roll or let it touch my meal. I saw my boyfriends order and a lobster plate came out, but there was a roll on the plate. Then I saw my waiter try to SNEAKILY TAKE THE ROLL OFF MY PLATE WITH HIS HANDS before giving it to me. I told him I couldn’t eat that, I saw the bread and it will make me sick. Turned out that plate was for a different table and a plate with no bread came out right after. He tried to play it off like everything worked out well. Definitely not safe for food and tbh not worth it anyway.

Terrible service. No GF menu and staff had no understanding of GF.

We walked in during winter hues and discussed GF options with some wait staff. When they heard I was celiac and could get ill with gluten and cross contamination, they recommended we eat elsewhere. We went down a few steps and ate safely at Cape May Fish Market. The staff there was knowledgeable and helpful.
My son has gluten sensitivities and we were happy they offered gluten free bread. He had a grilled cheese and it loved it.

They were super busy and low on waiters, so things were a little hectic. I ordered a burger without the bun as they didn’t have GF menu...I wasn’t convinced that they were going to bring my order out correct either as they didn’t get everything right with our table’s drink order. The burger was correct and tasted fine...no issues yet. The chips that come with the burger come in their own individually wrapped bag, which is nice! I wouldn’t be confident to recommend this place to other Celiacs, especially in the busy months of the summer.

There is nothing labeled gluten free on the menu, but I was told they could accommodate. I imagine there is a lot of cross contamination. The waitress was pretty unhelpful. I asked her to check what salad dressings were gf and she told me to just have the oil and vinegar because that was safest. In other words, she wouldn’t check it the kitchen! Don’t come here, especially if you have celiac.

They did have gluten free buns. There was no separate gf menu but the waiter was willing to check with the chef about salad dressings. Chips come in a separate bag and are gf. No a/c though so it was very hot inside.
Gluten free buns. Staff seems knowledgeable.
