I wish I could express how much this pains me to write. This is a lovely bakery, beautiful presentation, extremely friendly staff but this is at least the 5th time I've purchased a gluten free baked good of different varieties that is so dry I don't want to finish it. And it's expensive enough to disappoint me to want to dispose of something so beautiful. I've had absolutely delicious GF from other bakeries that are moist and fresh, but maybe not as beautiful, so it's not an unrealistic expectation. I hope that somehow there is a change in recipe because I love supporting local business that pays attention to the needs of vegan and GF

Beautiful and delicious GF & Vegan desserts. There’s usually about 10 GF options, my fav being the GF cookie dough mini cake and the funfetti mini cake. A bit on the pricey side but I always enjoy their stuff!!

We have gotten “gluten-free” items several times over the past few years & every time, we got sick from gluten contamination. They make their “gluten-free” items in the same room & on the same equipment as the regular items. It is a bakery, so there is gluten flour in the air EVERYWHERE & simply wiping down the mixer or counter doesn’t magically make anything gluten-free! The worst part is that the employees will swear up & down that they have a dedicated space & are safe, but the actual manager admitted that they do NOT.

ASK TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER & ask the manager if they are Celiac safe! They will say no! They have no separate gf area or equipment & the gluten flour gets EVERYWHERE! The regular employees do not understand & they will say it is safe when it is NOT!
Within minutes I had a reaction. There is cross contamination. No warning on their website. Their gluten free is just for trendy diets and not for actually allergies, intolerances, or diseases.

They’re so nice and their products are delicious, especially the GF carrot cake and Boston Cream Pie

Love their deserts. Its worth the trip.
This place is not celiac safe. Everything is cross-contaminated, no dedicated enclosed prep space. They used to have a disclaimer about that online but I don't see it anymore. If you talk to someone knowledgeable there they will tell you their "gluten free" isn't TRULY gluten free for celiac.

We had separate cakes for our daughters wedding and our anniversary for gluten free, dairy and nut free family members. The cakes were super moist & lots of varieties for both dairy free and gluten free family members. They can make anything! Fabulous!!

I am a celiac and I have to say this place assured us that their cakes are gluten free - as long as a bakery uses precaution while preparing my food I never get sick. Sad to say I’ve gotten severally sick twice. Please if you’re a celiac do not go here. They are not celiac safe.

I’ve gone back time and time again and have to say they are not celiac safe. They store their GF items below the gluten items. I’ve also been sick almost every time I’ve ordered something. However, it took me a few times to realize the exact culprit due to eating other foods around the same time.

Very disappointing. I am a celiac and This place makes terrible GF desserts. They are dry, tasteless, and leave a weird aftertaste in your mouth. And it cost a lot of money for a dessert for one person - $8.00.
It's obvious that they don't use good quality ingredients.
Plus they don't use organic Soy products for their vegan treats either. It's like eating pesticide-laden desserts. Sad but true.
No
Definitely NOT safe. The “gluten free” items are kept below the regular items, and you can see crumbs falling from the top shelf to the gluten free shelf

If you have the ability to test your food I would. While they are good intentioned and have gotten the storage of their gluten free products tested, the "gluten free" products aren't always. I test the products and about half the time they are truly gluten free and the other half not. The products are placed below gluten containing products which could certainly cause contamination. It isn't a gluten free facility as well which always worries me since everyone can't be on their a game at all times to keep things perfectly separate. I have been sick for a few days after consuming the products as well. So test and hope yours is gluten free. When it tests gluten free I am fine. Just be ready to throw away a cake if needed.

This place is amazing. I had cheesecake for the first time in over 5 years. It was heaven! I ordered my daughters birthday cake from them, they did a beautiful job! It was delicious. A little pricey but when you can’t have anything gluten or dairy you expect to pay a little more. I’m celiac and had no problems. Have been there 4 times now.

Been going here for years and they always do a great job at creating delicious gluten free desserts as well as making sure everything is made separately. And when they’re available, I highly recommend the gluten free cannolis.

I knew it must be good when there was a line out the door, down the sidewalk in front of the bakery on Saturday afternoon! (A side effect of VegFest or is it always this popular? Hmm.)
Pros: friendly and efficient service, beautiful presentation, wide selection of items. I didn't care for the chocolate mousse, but the (huge!) white chocolate orange cookie was good and I enjoyed a blackberry lime cake.
Cons: a bit pricey, as expected. Also the fact that gluten-free items were displayed on the third row of the case (below trays of wheat items) did raise a red flag. I would inquire about the kitchen and cross-contamination measures if I return.
Update: The cookie seemed fine, but I felt unwell after eating some cake the next day. I can't definitively say what was to blame (you take lots of risks when traveling ...) so I'm not marking this establishment as safe nor unsafe for celiacs without further info.
Lots of gf baked goods, my favorite is the chocolate chip cheesecake
Amazing! GF Tandy Cake was incredible!

Very tasty, and it's very easy to order gluten free.

Wow!! I've been to bakeries from New York down to Maryland and this by far is a place to visit. It's all vegan, but they have plenty of gluten free options! Ive never been so pleased with quality of gluten free pastries, but these cakes they sell are mouth watering.. And the presentation of these little mini pieces of heaven are incredible! The ice cream they have is to die for. And everyone is always the sweetest and know about their product .

This place is awesome! Some of the best cookies and cakes I've had, GF vegan or not. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

their items are vegan, and not all items are gluten free; BUT they are very knowledgeable and have made it easy for you! just ask the woman (lovely) at the counter, a whole row in the display case is gluten free and there are so many choices! it was delicious! perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Their so-called "gf" food sits under all the gluten stuff and the gluten crumbs get into it! They have no dedicated g luten-free space; all the food is prepared on the same counter and the bakers don't change their gloves. Also, when I asked the counter girl what all the ingredients in one of their cakes were, she said she wasn't sure. She went in the back to ask the bakers, and I heard them say they didn't know, but the girl came out and lied and said there was no tapioca in the cake (an ingredient that my wife is allergic to). My wife had to go to the hospital later because of the tapioca allergy! Also, a friend of mine that used to work there told me she quit because milk once got into their product somehow but they we gonna sell it anyway!

Cakes and cookies to die for. Many gluten-free choices. Expensive, though. But worth it.
This place is the best ever!! Very decadent desserts that taste great! Has gf/dairy free desserts including a soy based ice cream.
It is nice that they have so many GF options.
