It can be celiac friendly, we made sure we explained our situation and they made them upstairs in a different prep area. They can substitute any sub to have gluten free baguette and it was amazing! The bread was like what we remembered "real" bread to taste like.. 😀 it is an express location that means you can take it to the tables outside to eat or walk next door to eat it in the park. Wonderful!

No longer carry gluten free bread. While they still have options - starches, proteins and sauces; everything is prepared in the same area, and no glove changes. Food was very spicy and I didn’t eat more than 3 bites. Very disappointing.

The waiter double checked with the kitchen and let me know I just needed to mark gluten free and put a note when ordering on my phone that I have celiac, and they would wipe down all surfaces, etc. I had a bowl with mashed potatoes, mixed green salad, chicken, sausage, and 3 different sauces. It's my favorite meal I've had on vacation here. The flavors are outstanding! Everything was wonderful.

This place has the most amazing lettuce wraps. Very good options. Did not get sick and wonderful atmosphere. The address on this app is wrong though. Please check the website for the right address. Well worth it!

Loved the food here - do not have a gf menu but were able to tell me what would be safe and it was delicious! Incredibly nice staff, great sauces, lovely seating area outdoors and the South African iced tea was awesome.

This place is amazing! Fast food done Savannah-style. African, Creole influences. Sandwich place, but they can serve on greens, rice, mashed potatoes, or quinoa. The server was aware and attentive. Don't forget to get the South African tea!

Staff was great about GF offering,changed gloves and so friendly! The meats sauces and base options (quinoa rice or potatoes) instead of the sandwich was a perfect option

I used mashed potatoes as my starting base instead of bread, they also offer rice, quinoa or salad. I had sausage and chicken with grilled veggies and a yummy creamy Italian sauce on top. They walked me thru my options... no reaction, even bread is wrapped to keep separate

SO accommodating for the gf guest! Had the portobello melt with chicken added. Very tasty and the bread was crunchy and soft at the same time. Can't wait to go back!

great gf bread! portions are large and staff is great! the south African sausage is safe and delicious!

It is a small eatery, there are no seats on the inside, great seating on the outside. It has mostly sandwiches. The homemade South African sausage is GF, the smoked one isn't. The sandwiches are huge and must be eaten with a fork and knife. This has to be the BEST gluten free bread I have eaten since 2009 (when I went GF).

Awesome service, it's a small shop with seating outside and the plates and sandwiches are HUGE! I got the godfather sandwich and it was yummy!! They make the bread upstairs when you order so it takes 10-15 minutes but so worth it!!

Sandwiches were so delicious! Staff was knowledgeable and careful about cross contamination.

This location is Zunzi's Express, a hole in the wall sandwich shop. The sandwiches look great but they don't have a separate prep area. They offered to heat the sandwich on a new clean pan so they pay some attention but I would NOT eat here if I were highly sensitive or had celiac. We didn't end up eating here because my daughter has celiac.

Great food and incredible amount of gf options, gf French bread can substitute any sandwich!

Wow! My first calamari since being diagnosed and it was terrific! I ordered a sandwich for dinner and the bun was hands down the best gf I've ever had! Service was spectacular and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and even live music! Would highly recommend! And I hope to go back on our next visit!

I love this place! Staff treated us like they've known us for years and I had to ask about 5 different times if the fried calamari was GF, because it is that good! Had the pleasure of chatting with the owner who is Gluten intolerant! This place is so much fun! We wish we lived closer! Thanks Zunzi's you definitely created a memory for us!!! Staff didn't seem to careful with prep but there wasn't any reaction so we were okay! Food was fantastic!

The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. Side note: We ate at the second Zunzi's off of Drayton st.
