All they had was pizza! Lame .....
Burt the manager was very helpful. My food was good and I even got the gf cookie. They told me all gf items are prepared with dedicated equipment so it seems like it's pretty safe. I can see how if wait staff is not careful one could get glutened so I think one must not be afraid to ask questions. I wish their menu was a little broader but I will try BJs again!
Usually good. However won't eat pizza anymore due to cross contamination. Haven't had problems with other dishes though.
management is basically worthless... on their cell phone Facebooking at the bar while guests are sitting there with the wrong food. I've been here 4 times and contaminated twice. Wrong cookie for desert by the waitress... how do you do that? Service is hit or miss Brenna and Greg in the bar are good. That's the only reason for 2 stars instead of zero.
Good pizza and good dessert. Nothing much else for gf options.
Super limited menu! I don't even think it's worth going. When I go to eat with someone and this is what they choose, I eat ahead of time. Like others say, very slow service.
Ashamed to admit that we kind of went just for the dessert! Gluten free dessert in a restaurant is a rare treat. My daughter and I both had gluten free salads (Santa Fe) which were really good and the pizookie was to die for. Neither of us had any issues afterward. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that service really is pretty slow there. It took a long time to get our food.
Good menu and very good about contamination. The only reason I don't give them a 5 is that you can't get outta there in less then 2 hrs. They have service problems and I have always have to send back my food at least once, not because of gluten issues, just badly cooked or wrong food. Very safe place to eat for celiacs.

We have been to Bj's several times. The gf pizza and capresse salad are wonderful. Most of our visits the manager came to our table to explain how they prepare gf and their efforts to avoid cross contamination. Only once did we encounter an idiot server but we just asked to speak with the manager and everything was fine. My biggest complaint is that I am also wheelchair-bound and it is a real hassle to get to the restrooms. You either have to enter through the take out door or traverse carefully through the crowded bar area.
FYI...we were at BJ's Restaurant & Brewery in Colorado Springs, CO today with my family. My kids are NOT gluten-free, but I am due to Celiac disease and my husband is to support me. We went there because we were told they were great supporters of GF patrons. When the waitress came I asked her a ? about an item on the menu and she didn't know..she took the gluten-free menu from me and proceeded to search..then she looks at me and says how about a potato because I really don't know about anything else...I said sure. Then when my husband ordered, off of the GF menu, she interrupted him and said is this an allergy or a preference? Not sure WHY she would ask that but I can say it made us VERY nervous about why she would ask that...is the food that is a "preference" going to be cross contaminated?? I ordered the sirloin...it was bland, no seasoning at all..it was supposed to have onions sauteed on top (per the menu), it didn't...I asked if they had any sauce, that was gluten-free...the man who brought out the food said he would check...he didn't. They promised my sons ketchup...we never received it and we had to ask for silverware. Overall, I was NOT impressed with the restaurant...the gluten free food was BLAND...and over all a poor experience was had by all. Just wanted to let you know...I know they claim support and endorsements by the GiG...but from my experience there are definitely BETTER GF restaurants out there!

Wonderful to g-free customers!!! They offer g-free beer, cider, pizza, & dessert!!! The g-free menu has the entire menu on the back, in a grid, to list all ingredients from wheat to dairy to MSG!!!! The staff does a wonderful job taking care of you and I will certainly be back!
Great service, gluten free menu including gluten free pizza! Mgr came over personally to confirm that our order was gluten free. And the food was fantastic !
Saib (Kitchen Manager) and Diego do an excellent job making our gluten free dairy free pizzas safe and delicious! They always come out and say hi and personally make our food (we ask for them when we arrive at our table). Saib has personal experience with food allergies so he totally understands cross-contamination. They always use fresh ingredients on our pizzas so they don't cross-contaminate with the toppings used for regular pizzas. We have never gotten sick and we are super sensitive to minute amounts of gluten. Delicious pizzas!
Kayla was outstanding! Explaining how they keep everything separate in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. Pizza was amazing & cookie pizookie was delicious! Even my husband who is not GF loved it! It a must eat place for is next time we are in the area!
Since finding out that I have to be gluten free, I have to say that BJ's has made it very easy to pick meals for myself if we go out to eat. If you're ever in doubt, ask for Sabrina, she happens to be my daughter and won't give you a hard time or question you. And as you could imagine, living with me - she knows and understands all of it. No cross contamination there, including with your leftovers!
Ok GF options, but it's just mass produced, Cisco frozen food and tastes like it. Most servers not well versed in anything GF. Ok place to go with others who aren't healthy eaters
I ate their pepperoni pizza and pizcookie; both were delicious and the waitress seemed to be very careful with the food. Very very yummy!
Successful trip with my highly sensitive celiac girls- had the GF cheese pizza. My kids really liked it. Can't wait to try the GF dessert!
Used to love love this restaurant. Then I was given an old menu and ordered an item that is now NOT gluten free. Of course I didn't realize that day that I was given an old gluten-free menu. When I had a reaction and looked into why, I discovered I'd been given an old menu and discussed this, in person, with the manager. He was unfriendly, unsympathetic, and thoroughly ignorant regarding the severity of food allergies. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.
I didn't find a huge selection of gf menu items, but what I did have was excellent. My sirloin steak was cooked perfectly with an excellent grilled flavor and juicy taste. I had the roasted brussel sprouts and steamed green beans as sides. They were great. There are several other whole-food veggie sides including roasted asparagus, broccoli, and a seasonal selection. Great choices if you try to eat whole/clean/paleo. I had the Omission pale ale which was a beautiful amber color, a little hoppy for me at first (not a fan of pronounced hops), but great with my steak. For dessert, I had an amazing double berry beer drink (mix of 2 berry gf beers). So DELICIOUS you must try if you enjoy ciders/fruity drinks/sparkling wine (they do tasters. I also had the gf mini pizookie and it was yummy. It was undercooked so it was still gooey, which I love, and the bartender told me is how they intentionally serve it. The scoop of ice cream it came with was a delicious, high-quality vanilla bean. I sat at the bar and had excellent service, with fabulous, on-target recommendations from both bartenders on duty.
This restaurant has educated staff and a manager that is very aware of gluten free procedures. I ordered a grilled chicken with no seasoning, the manager came out to share the presoak marinade with me concerned for my safety. Kudos to you! One of the few places in Menifee I feel safe coming to. 8/27 I am adding to my original post. I visited this restaurant today and was given some cheapie, printed gluten free menu that didn't have all the pages. When I asked, I was told they ran out of the brochure menus and the manager provided me a new brochure. It was at that time, I knew I shouldn't eat there. If they do not think enough of their food allergy customers to keep a menu in stock, they surely cannot have the procedures in place to avoid cross-contamination. After I ate my dinner, immediately I was sick. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with severe allergies to gluten.
Terrible, terrible treatment of me as a celiac. Awful. Ordered the steak, baked potato and broccoli cheddar soup. The kitchen then said the soup wasn't actually gluten free, then the manager told me they were wrong, and assured me it was okay because they don't actually make the soup there, it's pre-made and pre-packaged and they just open and heat it up. The manager kept rolling his eyes at me about the questions I asked and, after all of this trouble and drama about what was or was not gluten free, he didn't even apologize or comp anything. We nearly walked out. After all of that, I was also super sick and had to cancel my next day plans. Please, do not support this location with their terrible treatment of celiac customers and horrific food handling.
This is my favorite place to go when I'm craving a pizza. the crust is thin, they pile on a ton of cheese, and the sauce is delish. I always get bacon for the topping, which is fantastic. Another favorite there is the pizzooki. So far, it's the best gf dresser I've seen at a restaurant!
Had a berry cider and gluten free pizza - the crust was excellent. The staff was knowledgable and friendly.
7-7-15 update. They removed the chicken item from the GF menu. practically nothing GF on menu. WORST. SERVICE. EVER! ....1 hour 45 minute lunch for 1 person. lame. lemon thyme chicken is good. GF Pizooki is yummy. Service is consistently the worst. I seriously get so frustrated by the end of my meal.

Best gluten free cheese pizza in town. The staff is very cautious when it comes to cross contamination. The first time I ordered the pizza (via over the phone for take out) the guy taking my order, his wife also has celiac and he knew how important it was for there to be no cross contamination. Tonight when I ordered my pizza (over the phone) I mentioned how great of a job they did last time to avoid cross contamination and the man said "I'm the general manager, don't worry your pizza will be perfect!" And it was! (The label on the box said *allergy* *allergy* *allergy* celiac)
Had pizza and cookies and got sick. They printed the gluten info from their website and I thought the other options were sad. Was regular menu items without the sauce.
