Used to be my go to....chicken nachos. I'm paying for it after trying the second time. I tried but it just isn't safe to eat here.

I went to this location and had a few chips with salsa and a single fajita and had a reaction. I would guess they do not have separate cooking areas. After reading the other reviews and the staff saying everything was gluten free (except for a few items) I thought it would be safe, but unfortunately was wrong. My sisters also have Celiac and both had reactions. If you have celiac I would sadly recommend finding somewhere else to eat.

We have eaten here several times with celiac kids and it has been great! GF chips which is always nice. We have had the omelet, fajitas, & enchiladas

Dec 2021 they no longer have a gluten free menu. Per the manager “everything is gluten free except the flour tortillas and the chili con carne sauce” which can’t be true, but I ordered off what was on the previous gluten free menu pictured below.

Our server had excellent knowledge of gluten and what is safe for celiac customers. Had a GREAT meal here, excellent service and so many options for serious celiacs. Will absolutely return!

Super friendly! They have a ton of gluten free options! I had a question about something on the menu and the manager walked back to check the food package ingredients to ensure it was safe. I will definitely be back! Plus the margaritas are fantastic!

I have eaten at the Blue Goose on Park and in Frisco and they are both great. Chips and salsa gluten free with lots of food options. Highly recommend.

We ate at the Park / Plano location of Blue Goose Cantina last week; it was my first Mexican restaurant since my diagnosis. (Sadly, the two Mexican restaurants that I ate at before both have zero knowledge regarding gluten-free options.). I first called and verified that their Queso, salsa and chips were GF. I ordered cheese and beef enchiladas with Queso, rice and black beans. I also ate chips and salsa. It was all delicious with zero symptoms.
Yes
Great food and the chips are gluten free. We love going here when we are in town. Our go to is the citrus infused pork fajitas with mushrooms and bacon wrapped shrimp with corn tortillas. We shared this with 3 people and had some left over!!

Conflicting information between staff on what is GF and what is not. Waiter said they use soy sauce for steak, another waiter said it was safe because it was gluten free. Per the manager there are only 3-4 things that aren’t GF.
Not the most flavorful food, but you can eat their chips due to them having a dedicated fryer and their salsa is pretty good!

The staff were very helpful with answering questions. Pretty much everything is or can be made gluten free. The chips are fried in a separate fryer. The corn tortillas are prepared at a separate station than the flour tortillas. An earlier review said the queso was not gluten free but our waitress told us it was. I ate it and had no reaction. Everything was yummy!

My experience has been good. I’ve eaten here three times with no incident. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas. The chips have a dedicated fryer. There are only three items with gluten: the flour tortillas, the sopapillas and the chili con carne sauce. Everything else there is gluten-free including the chips!
Blue Goose wasn’t listed here when I first went to the McKinney location. It’s other locations are now listed & I’m adding the McKinney restaurant here.
