My son has celiac disease and we have been to this Cafe a few times in previous trips. They don't have a dedicated GF menu but options are listed on the menu. Selection is limited. He had the quiche and said it was good. Staff in the past have been knowledgeable but you should speak with the chef for best results.

I was told the only thing safe for celiacs there was quiche Lorraine. The sandwiches and toast are all shared spaces with normal bread. However, quiche was good and no reaction to it.

Most things are either GF originally or can easily be modified. A very chill coffee house vibe with lots of specialty options like GF quiche made with almond flour and protein plates.

Excellent breakfast spot! GF marked clearly on menu, I had the avocado toast and was pleasantly surprised at how good the bread was. Boyfriend got the quiche (also GF) and was equally pleased. Will be returning if we are in the area again!

Have eaten here multiple times and never had an issue. Coming from a highly sensitive celiac person, it has been my experience that the staff were always knowledgeable, understanding and accommodating. Amazing GF breakfast quiche and multiple bakery goods, also great GF sandwiches for lunch.

I have eaten at the Bluebird once or twice a month for the last couple of years. The food is extremely high quality and healthy.

I suffer from IBS and have never had a problem after eating there. I wish Aspen had anything to compare to the Bluebird Cafe.

I have eaten here several times successfully, but got totally sick the last time. I was there November 24 for breakfast before a road trip back home. I ordered the quiche, and fortunately I gave half of it to my daughter to share. I was violently ill within 15 minutes of finishing my meal!! I had to wait for hours before I could begin my road trip home, and was "off" for at least a week! I don't know what happened that day, but I hope it was a one-time deal as getting gluten-free food in Glenwood Springs has always been a bit of a crap-shoot. I am SO DISAPPOINTED!

All quiche are gf, gf salads, gf panini are made on the same grill as non-gf, but they do disclose this clearly. They also have assorted gf pastries. Pretty good for breakfast, I will definitely come back.

We just got to town and popped in for lunch. The only GF options were quiches & muffins. We were looking for pizza & sandwiches, so we didn't stay. Just wanted to give others a heads up that it didn't quite match the online description.

Probably your best bet for GF eating in Glenwood Springs. Tasty and safe

You can get any of the sandwiches on a salad. I got the curry turkey on top of greens. Delicious! Coffee was super good too.

Great variety of delicious GF quiches. All sandwiches can be made with GF bread. Many choices of GF baked goods available (cookies, scones, muffins & brownies). The employees were very nice.

The chocolate chip cookie was yummy!

Quiche was excellent. Having some GF pastries to choose from was a real treat for my son w celiac disease. A little pricey, but great service, delicious food and quaint atmosphere.

We ordered two large macchiatos and a hot chocolate from the extremely rude young lady there even after she explained to us that if we were expecting star bucks coffee this is not the place to be. She proceeded to make our drinks while she slammed utensils around like we were bothering her. We said thank you after each drink that she finished and set out with not a word from her except for the obvious scowl on her face. Another young lady who was very nice asked if we've been helped, I said yes thank you. At that point I had already put away the 3 dollar tip I was going to leave but I decided to pull it back out because I knew they pooled their tips and I didn't want to punish the other young lady. My wife is celiac and this place looked like a nice place to get her a bite to eat. The menu board was clearly marked with gluten free items and were planning to eat there but after how we were treated decided not to spend any more money there. The drinks were excellent!! But the service brought it down to two stars. I would not recommend this place only because of the service of that one young lady.

While the Bluebird cafe is very Celiac friendly, the taste wasn't very good. I went for dinner and had the tuna sandwich. it was really sweet and the bread was dry. The brownie was good but expensive ($3). I went back for breakfast but the only thing they had left was the mango cinnamon scone. I couldn't taste any mango and it was very bland. I was really disappointed. The only good thing was the coffee.

Lots of GF options ready to go! They had GF brownies, blondies, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cupcakes, muffins, quiches, and sandwiches. I ordered the Canyon sandwich and it was amazing! The only thing I would've changed about it would be to toast the GF bread. I also had the chocolate chip cookie which is huge and delicious! I'll be back next time we happen to pass through Glenwood Springs.

Yum! I had the quiche which was great ( the crust was buttery and perfect). I selected one of six GF quiche options. The also have sandwiches many that can be made on GF bread. Also have almond milk for lattes! Located next to Summit Canon Mountaineering.

Yummy gluten free sandwiches! Had a gf mango cinnamon muffin too. The muffin was moist and so yummy!

wow....GF quiche, Brownies, muffins and cookies....so moist! GF bread too for sandwiches, but falls apart a bit. greatly caters ti the GF crowd!
