The beer here tastes like quality beer I remember from before my celiac diagnosis. It's absolutely fantastic. I went with someone who can have gluten and enjoys beer, she agreed that it was excellent even comparing to normal beer made with barley.

The food is okay, does the job. It's similar to bar food you can get anywhere else and similar quality, except obviously this time without gluten. If you're looking for a delicious meal you may want to go elsewhere. But if you're looking for a great bar experience with wonderful gluten free beer, where you can eat good-not-great food while there, this is the best I've been to anywhere in the US.

This restaurant is amazing. We were visiting Oakland for an event and found it through the FMGF app. I don’t drink beer, so can’t rate that, but the food was delicious. My kids and I got the fish and chips and my husband got the fish tacos. We shared the churros. Everything was good and the atmosphere was fun too, we played a board game while we waited for our food. We’ll definitely go back.

This was my first restaurant experience since getting my celiac diagnosis a month ago and was really nervous. The staff answered all of my questions happily. Despite everything being labeled 100% GF, I felt comfortable asking if the oats that made the adffogato stout were certified GF and was presently surprised that they were! I can’t speak on how the food interested with my body yet but the food and drinks were awesome!

Highly recommend! This place is a 10 on 10!!! Love Buck Wild Brewing! The food is 100% gluten free & absolutely delicious! We ordered the Burger, Fish Tacos, Brussel Sprouts & Fish & Chips! I wish I had taken photos of our delicious meal but we couldn't resist devouring it the minute it arrived. The place has a relaxed vibe & a very charming interior. The service is fast & friendly. The beers are gluten free also & I'm sure they're awesome...I didn't try those. Will definitely return soon!

The beer is made entirely with gluten-free grains, unlike other places that use gluten grains then remove it, so I felt very very safe here. I had a shandy and it was delicious and high quality. Did not get sick!

GF heaven. Beer is what I miss most about my pre-GF days. This beer is as good as it gets! No weird aftertaste. My favorite are the hazy IPAs.

Dedicated Gluten Free Brewery & Kitchen. As someone with celiac it was nice to be able to choose from several different types of GF beers without worry. Hip atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely a must try for those who are GF and like craft beer

Dedicated gluten free so no worries about cross contamination! I got fish and chips that were so so good. The chicken nuggets were great too. There was live music so beware of you are noise sensitive. Also not the most young-kid friendly place for that reason, and no kids menu, but overall an awesome find!

Beer was amazing! I tried a few dif kinds and all were great. The beer here is 100% gf as it is made from gluten free grains rather than being gluten removed beer.

I got the chicken tacos which were great and my non celiac fam loved the fish and chips, fries, and burgers.

They had live music too!

Hands down, Buck Wild makes the best GF beer I’ve ever had, and they make so many styles! The food is also great. The brussels sprouts, fish tacos, and french fries were all amazing. I just wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

The entire facility, all food and drink, is gluten-free. Good sour beers, and good bar food from what we had. My husband is not celiac and he said his burger (with an Udi GF bun) was delicious! My stomach felt off afterward, but not celiac-reaction-off. I think it may have been the vegan cheese?

What an AMAZING place. 100% celiac safe, delicious food, great drink options and the best part is their people. Ocean is an amazing barkeep, fellow Celiac and all around awesome human. Can’t recommend enough. Please visit and don’t skip the plantains!

Fun place! Games (cards, connect four, etc etc) all GF menu and beers. We had power a Power Bowl and small dishes of Brussel sprouts and fried plantains. I’d skip the plantains next time. The other two were excellent. It’s been several hours and no ill effects. I have celiac. Buck Wild is the brewery and they contract with Kitava to run the kitchen. Kitava has a restaurant in SF. They don’t use any gluten, dairy, corn, soy, peanuts, refined sugar and seed oils.

I am gluten-intolerant, and my wife is celiac and has other additional food allergies. Despite those challenges, we had a wonderful evening with beers and delicious food. The dedicated-GF brewing here is wonderful, no sacrifice on taste, flavor, or maltiness. The owner was gracious enough to provide a quick tour even though it was the weekend, and the bartender and waitress were super-friendly and fun to hang with. Overall, we'd recommend to anyone, whether GF or not!

This place is soooo great. Anytime I’m in the east bay I always try to make a trip here. I avoid oats as well as gluten and the brewer always lets me know what beers use oats and which do not. Their sour beers are my absolute favorite. Food is all gluten free too!

We love this place ! Great folks working there and amazing food! Delicious, fresh and flavorful! It’s contactless ordering. Open seating , inside and outside dining. Clean bathrooms! Friendly staff!
