The Cheesecake Factory

Asked our server skinnylicious chopped salad to be gluten free. They would need to change to dressing. Also asked about fries, if they had a dedicated fryer or not. He said he would check with kitchen and came back to tell me they could not make the chopped salad gluten free and that they do not have a dedicated fryer, but it is set at a higher temperature and that would “eradicate” any cross contamination.

We are from south Florida and the Sunrise location has accommodated me every time and has a dedicated fryer for gluten free meals.

I am so disappointed and surprised a location with international customers would not offer better accommodations.

Paige was my waitress and she was amazing! She double checked every single thing would be safe from cross contamination. She let me know that they do cook the gf pasta in the same water as gluten pasta and that fries were also in a shared fryer. I ended up getting a burger on a gluten free bun and a side salad as well as the sweet corn tamale cakes.

Menu noted what was GF. Had a good plain steak with green vegetables and a superb GF Godiva chocolate cheesecake. They had another coffee and chocolate I think flavoured GF cheesecake which I tried earlier In the week. I wish they had a fruity flavour choice of cheesecake too!!! UPDATE: Sadly got slightly glutened 😔

I had the gluten free version of Shepherds Pie. It was terrific. It has hamburger, vegetables, mashed potatoes and a mushroom based gravy. Make sure you say allergy. I will definitely get that meal again.

Waitress very helpful. I’m gluten free vegetarian... has the tamales as an appetizer and the gluten free primavera pasta for dinner. I asked the server about the pasta ( are you sure this is gluten free ) she responded that the GF pasta is always the rotini ( spirals ) that’s how they ensure it’s the right one ... the Godiva cheesecake is on the GF menu ... but I’m unsure about Godiva being gluten free.. waitress assured us it was ... but I skipped it. The Food was delicious !!!

Been here multiple times and always get knowledgeable and friendly staff!

Unfortunately didn't eat here for the following reason - the man at the front desk assured me there was a dedicated fryer for fries but when I asked the person serving us she looked concerned saying she thought the same oil was used for other things. She checked in the kitchen and the chef said definitely don't have the fries if you need gluten free. The menu looked very good and the woman serving us was great and I used to love Cheesecake Factory before being diagnosed but just to warn any celiacs - at this particular restaurant - don't have the fries!

It's hard to find their gf options online... They did not have anything posted online. They do offer gf buns and gf pasta and there is one cheesecake option gf. I got a burger w gf bun and fries. It was decent. I didn't get sick so that's a plus.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS if you're truly Celiac!!

Visited from out-of-state. Called ahead on a Friday evening, confirmed with management that GF options could be prepped separately and reduce risk for contamination. Waited an hour for a table, was finally seated. Asked waitress to confirm chef could prepare a SALAD with grilled chicken separately -- kitchen manager told her there was high risk of contamination. A SALAD ? With grilled chicken? Manager came by, was arrogant and condescending stating that any restaurant cannot guarantee anything. No attempt to even reassure that he would have the chef grill the chicken separately or anything. After an hour and half of waiting for dinner, I left and went to California Pizza Kitchen -- which is amazing by the way!

I let the server know I was gluten free - coeliac multiple times so she would get my order right and I confirmed with her again before my meals came out and she still gave me the gluten cheesecake instead of the gluten free one

I went here and ordered a gluten free burger and bun. The food came with a gluten bun. I sent it back as I noticed it wasn’t gluten free. I woke up sick as a dog for two days. If you’re sensitive don’t eat here. Even after the gluten free bun change I still got sick.

Was not bad but experience varies by server. We came twice as staying nearby... only on the 2nd visit did our server correct the misinformation from the first server.

There is NO dedicated fryer... it is shared oil. A lot of the staff are unclear of the difference
