So I told them I was gf and they went to get me a limited gf menu. Better than what other reviews had BUT not super confident in these meal. Def will use my activated charcoal to help with symptoms

Chuy’s does NOT have a gf menu. From information online, they marinate their meat in beer, so no meat is GF. They also cook everything in the same fryer if you are really sensitive. Pretty disappointing for Mexican food since most of the time it is GF.

Gluten “Sensitive” not free menu states “*not guaranteed*” in huge handwritten permanent marker. I asked a few questions and the staff wasn’t confident in gluten free.
No
Terrible menu. Staff was not concerned at all.
Limited gluten free menu with minimal choices due to cross contamination. Good food though and great happy hour drinks.
Yes
Very little for gf choices, especially anything with a meat component. Ended up with a cheese quesadilla . Server didn't really seem to care
No
Really hard to avoid cross contamination at Chuy's. Their best dishes cannot be made GF.
No
Wish I would have read the reviews before eating off the gluten free menu. I would not eat here if you are gluten sensitive or celiac. I have been sick for two days now food was amazing but not worth it.

Chuy's is a great place. It's not only one of the best restaurant choices at Opry Mills. It has some of the best foods (not just for those who do not suffer with gluten intolerance). One big tip is to ask for the gluten/dairy free menu. Even more importantly ask for the manager.

extremely limited menu. the chips and rice are off limits.
Fantastic experience at Chuy’s. The manager and majority of the staff were very knowledgeable on what items are gluten free items! Their chips are made in a dedicated fryer. And corn tortillas are gluten free. Staff was so kind to let me know all the gluten free sauces that were options. Their fajita meat is not gluten free. I had the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchiladas and they were delicious. No cross contamination and I feel great after my meal. I’m making Chuy’s my permanent Mexican food spot in OKC!

Even though they have a GF menu, they will not guarantee it will actually be GF. All their meat proteins have gluten - from the marinade. The chips are not GF either. Very disappointing.

The GM was extremely knowledgeable about the processes and cross contamination! Chips at this location are celiac safe, boom boom sauce, and jalapeno ranch as well!

A classic Tex Mex chain so you can expect the quality to be subpar. The manager was very accommodating and confirmed they had a dedicated fryer for only corn. However, they did have to check on a lot with the previous manager to ensure GF items. I got the chicken flautas with roasted chicken. While my typical reaction of ataxia did not kick in, I did leave feeling somewhat symptomatic: light headed, hot/cold flashes, weak on my feet etc. I think I may have been exposed in some capacity.
Be aware: marinated meat is cooked in beer, queso has gluten, Mexican rice is fried in gluten fryer, and chips are cross contaminated.

If you have celiac DONT DO IT! Let me be a cautionary tale to those with any kind of gluten sensitivity. I have celiac and am currently in the worst pain of my life from eating here.
