Delicious food. Kitchen were able to make most things gf. My son had cheese and bacon grits, scallops with the beurre blanc sauce and julienne vegetables. Waiter very knowledgeable and careful about gf and cross contamination. A very reassuring experience.

They were super knowledgeable about GF foods! Just don't get the steak - sounds really good but ours came out cold & undercooked. Salad was great and apps of the table next to us looked yummy.

Gluten Intolerant

This was the first restaurant I have ever been to where the server asked about food sensitivities before we ordered. I don't expect that that is common practice, but I do recall putting a note on my reservation request that one of us would be asking about gluten free options. I had swordfish (pan-seared, since the grill runs the risk of cross contamination). My husband had the same only cooked on the grill, and he said mine was better. This came with mashed potatoes and julienned vegetables. No issues.

Ate here based on others reviews. I was not 100% confident in their safety but my meal was delicious and I did not get sick. My husband and I shared mussels as an appetizer. I had the braised drum and my husband had jambalaya. Our waiter checked with the kitchen for each one and told us they were all GF, but nothing is marked on the menu and you have to ask lots of questions.

The server was knowledgeable and steered me away from a wood fire grilled fish, because they grill bread on the same surface. She recommended the Drum (fish) which came with shitake mushrooms and bacon truffle grits and was amazing. I also had the oysters as an appetizer. While they do not have a GF menu, the staff is well trained and there are plenty of options, especially if you like fresh seafood

No GF specific menu, but the staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. Once we started asking about GF options and it became apparent there was an actual allergy situation, the chef himself came out to talk to us and make sure we were well taken care of!!!

The food was fresh and delicious! Our server, Ash was knowledgeable about celiac. Without us even asking, he had the chef come out to discuss my daughter’s likes and what looked good on the menu to her and then altered her dish of choice (shrimp and grits) to make it safe….we have never had such careful and thoughtful consideration by a server or chef when eating out.

After reading the other reviews below, I was disappointed that the crab cakes are no longer on the menu! The waiter definitely knew about the requirements of the gluten free. He informed me that the grill is used to toast bread for some dishes, so I had to avoid it. My only choice was a piece of pan seared fish and steamed vegetables. I must say that the fish (grouper) was delicious, however, the price was steep for what was on my plate.

Absolutely delicious! My wife has Celiac disease. Upon telling our server, Dustin, that she couldn't have gluten, he immediately asked if it was intolerance or celiac. He guided us through the menu so she wouldn't get any cross contamination since they use the same oil for all fried items. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. She had crab cakes which are gluten free! They were some of the best crab cakes ever... almost 100% just crab! I had the cashew crusted grouper (not gluten free) and is was great! Drinks from the bar were really good as well. Great experience! Highly recommend asking for Dustin.

Not many GF options but that didn't matter. The staff was well versed in what to offer to have an amazing meal while still avoiding cross contamination. I didn't feel I was missing out on anything and had THE BEST crab cakes. If you just communicate with the servers, they will cater to your needs.
