Superb. The service was top notch. We got there before it opened (I was desperate for tasty gluten free food)...they saw me starring in the window, opened up just for me...I bought six freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Heaven. They were so kind and the food was delicious. Can't wait to be back in Seattle.

This place was very hard to find. Phone number was disconnected so couldn't get directions. Finally found it after 90 minutes of wandering. All they had at 3pm on sunday was pie. So we had key lime pie and salted caramel apple pie for lunch. Key lime was the best. Also tried a day old loaf of bread, which wasn't stale but left a horrible after taste. Figure out where it is before you go and don't expect much in the afternoon.

Good cookies, really slow service. Nothing is labeled, not what it is or what it cost. I heard they have great cinnamon buns but they are popular so they run out early. Guess it's crazy talk to bake more? The salted caramel apple thing was just so so. It's 100% GF so they have that going. I would try other options before going back though.

I came at lunchtime, and found this tiny place shorthanded. But the cook was pleasant and described two choices for sandwiches. My husband and I had the two, which were tasty, along with a small salad and fresh fruit. Bread was a bit dry, I think because it was a bit thick. But it was nice to eat gf. These two items were $24 together, but we are at Pike Place Market.

Claims they are open until 6, I went at 5 on a Wednesday and although the signs all said open, the door was locked and no one was there. Very disappointed.

By far the best gluten free pastries I've ever had. The service was great. I can't get over how fantastic everything was. Will definitely be stopping in whenever we're on this side of the state.

I've been to many gluten free bakeries-- Austin, Los Angeles, and of course, Seattle. This is hands down the most expensive and...also the best I've ever had.

Update: are you kidding me! I have never ever had GF food this good. I mean it, if you are eating gluten free you MUST go to this location. Cream cheese salmon pastry, salted Carmel Apple tart, shrimp poboy and coconut cream pie were perfection.

Past post: Hot diggity! French dip sandwiches! Truly the best I've ever had GF or not. Had a cinnamon roll appetizer and eclair for dessert. Don't know where next meal will be but this'll tide me over for a while. Located on the bottom level of Pike place market.

Not very good. Cash only. Limited selection. Charged $1 for a cup of water. Really the only good thing about this place is that I didn't get sick. I'd skip it.

My girl friend has Celiacs and being someone who hasn't ever had to eat gluten free, some things have taken some getting used to. Baked goods have definitely been hard to find, but Coffee and A Specialty Bakery hits everything right on the money. The taste and texture of their gluten free products is as good if not better than standard issued baked goods. Their latte's are immaculate as well. I highly recommend this bakery/café for gluten free and non-sensitive patrons alike. Five stars is not enough.

Cute little shop with very friendly employees. I was shocked that they had such a variety of delicious looking food that was all gluten free. I had a cinnamon roll, the first gluten tee one I've had, and I was delish. Definitely will be going back!

Wonderful little shop with friendly staff. Had a veggie focaccia, delicious bbq pork sliders on a light and fluffy roll, with a side of awesome potato salad. Decided to hang out while a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls was baking... even though we'd already enjoyed a brownie and orange cranberry scone. Definitely recommend this place!

This is the best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. Eveything here is totally gluten free, so no contamination! I had the madelines, the roast beef sandwich for lunch (first sandwich in a year and quite delicious), and they had hot fresh cinnamon buns just out of the oven while I was there so I had to get one! It was, hands down, the best cinnamon bun I have ever had (and I've only been gf for a year, so I remember wheat cinnamon buns =P). The staff is also super friendly, I had a great chat with the man at the counter. I will definitely be going back.

It is a shame that this bakery has a 4.5 instead of 5 star rating because of someone rating it down because of the presence of egg in their baking (not really fair on this website since it's about finding gluten free food, NOT egg free).

It definitely deserves the 5 stars.

Great service first of all, we were greeted right away when we walked in and offered a sample of their Madeline's which was awesome! We ended buying 2 & ate them on the spot. We got a chocolate chip cookie too. OMG, the best I've had in Seattle, hands down. We also had their focaccia pizza, it was flavorful & delicious (very generous slice)! We will definitely be coming back.

Look, I travel all over the country and desperately look for gluten free facility's to eat and gather food, this place not only "gets it", but they take it to another level! Great food, but even better service and commitment to quality. I was in the very small entry way with 4 other customers just talking about being Gluten Free and enjoying the time with each other. Extremely friendly and wonderful food. If your going to pick from this list...go here!
